I think the pitch speed was fine where it was. I think 65 is too slow.
The default for Allstar I think is 80. Were any of you other guys
having trouble with the pitch speed where it was? We really need to
have one person (Zlax?) in charge of the sliders or else it will be everyone just changing it to their personal tastes.
Darkbandit wrote:I did drop the pitch speed to 65 to see what changes, if any it would make to the amount of hits and runs scored. If no one likes it, I will go back in and change it later on today.

Fair enough, I went back and changed it back to where it was earlier.

I had no problems with where it was at. My problem is just not being patient enough! Still, it looks like most guys are getting a fiar amount of hits with that speed.

What was it before you changed it? 75 or 80? I can't remember.

The pitch speed is fine where it was. I shall be on tonight if anyone is looking to play, probably after 10pm eastern.

If the settings are the same ones that I adjusted last week, then the pitch speed was set at 70. I'll go adjust it now so it's OK for tonight...

Checked and it was already at 70, so we're good to go.

Makes me wonder how I will do. I play on Pro and it sounds like you guys are gravitating the sliders more towards All Star

Yeah that lag was awful, when I was pitching it seemed fine, only when batting is when it lagged for me, the hits that I got I had to swing early on and a good bit of the time I released the swing stick and my batter did nothing.

The Baltimore Orioles score 5 runs in the top of the 6th inning to come from behind to beat the Pirates 6-3. Pittsburgh brought the tying run to the plate with no one out in the bottom of the 7th but after Xavier Nady struck out Freddy Sanchez hit into a game ending double play.

Great game Sport, looking forward to the rematch. I shall be on late tomorrow night looking to play a game or two.

Thanks vader. The Orioles went on to trounce Atlanta (JackB1) 7-0 after our game. No doubt JackB1 is adjusting sliders to take away my power right now!

Not sure when I'll make it on this weekend, but whenever anyone sees me send a message and let's get some games in!

Good game last night Vader!

Even though Myers pitched an awesome game (11 K's), the Phils just couldn't get a run across. My best shot came in the 2nd, with Wes Helms on 3rd but I still couldn't get him across the plate. Bays last inning homer came off a bad pitch (totally missed my mark, and Vader guessed it's location), and I just couldn't touch the Pirates closer. I have to stop playing Vader when Zack Duke is pitching!

Great game Mac, I just couldn't get anything going against your pitchers.

Tried to play Bhoward in a game after that but kept getting lockups in the league lobby.

I don't know what my plans are mac, but if I see you on tonight I'll send you a message. Just be warned that I am very quiet online, as my kids rooms are right up the stairs and their door is open, so I have to keep it down.

Just finished up a double header versus Sport73's Orioles. First game was a close one but the Rockies (SP R. Lopez) edged out the Orioles (SP A Loewen) 3-1. Second game (E. Bedard v. J. Affeldt) went into extra innings after a Aubrey Huff smacked a one-run bomb to tie things up 1-1 in the seventh inning*. The game was all over in the ninth when M. Mora and M. Tejada both homered in the top of the inning and then the Orioles closer C. Ray came in to finish off the Rockies allowing only one hit and striking out two.

*We only play seven innings total (for those that aren't in the league)

Great games!
