Re: Racing Season 2022 (Spoiler Alert)

I've gotta find a (cough) cable package that will allow me to watch Indycar races as well. Although the F1 cars can run close, we still have to wait and see how the racing pans out at traditionally less exciting tracks. The tires don't seem to be doing much to change things. But I do have a question...

Re: Racing Season 2022 (Spoiler Alert)

Heya Folks! It's Smurfy here - The guy who could never quite figure out how to stop a car into turn 1 on lap 1 in rFactor. I just want to wish you all a happy 2022 racing season. I'll spare you from any predictions and state my hopes and fears for F1 in 2022. First of all, for someone who doesn't ma...

Did anyone catch the Twitch stream of Charles Leclerc and George Russell attempting to co-ordinate on Euro Truck Simulator 2?

Re: Racing 2018

After a long silence on these forums I felt compelled to post after learning Mo Nunn had passed away.

My memories of Montoya and Zanardi would not be much without his handiwork.

Re: OT: Racing 2017 (Spoiler Alert)

I wonder if Kimi was too busy grinning and admiring his pole lap to get excited about it. That seemed pretty amazing to me. To use the old cliché, he seemed to want it more than anyone else today.

Re: OT: Racing 2017 (Spoiler Alert)

I thought Vettel pulled some nice moves in China this year.

It is true though that his wins have always been from the front.

Re: OT: Racing 2017 (Spoiler Alert)

If anyone's been watching Atlanta this weekend I'd like you to comment on Harvick's driving. To me it looks like he's on the edge of disaster every lap and quite comfortable with it. This is something I didn't expect to see in NASCAR, hanging a car out like that lap after lap. Am I confused? I am no...

Haha.

Don't forget our friend Piquet Jr.?

While we're thinking like this, how about Brad Keselowski in a Haas? Imagine the U.S. flag and burnouts in F1.

Re: OT: Racing 2016 (Spoiler Alert)

Putting aside contracts, I think either Hulkenberg or Perez would make good number twos for Hamilton. Two other names I think would make good teammates would be Bottas and Grosjean. I can't imagine Alonso being the right person to pair with Hamilton personality-wise. McLaren must feel much more like...

Re: OT: Racing 2016 (Spoiler Alert)

Lewis did what he had to do and did it really well, he just ran away from Rosberg whenever they got anywhere near an overtaking area. His stand-off on the radio with the team was the most entertaining part of the race. I disagree. I like Lewis, but he drove like a complete tool today. Trying to win...

Re: OT: Racing 2016 (Spoiler Alert)

I'm glad Lewis drove the way he did. It put Nico under incredible pressure and he delivered. I think Rosberg's performance today underlined why he ultimately deserved the championship. It also highlighted Lewis's skill. I suspect it was a very difficult task, controlling the pace that way. In the bi...

Re: OT: Racing 2016 (Spoiler Alert)

I want Hamilton to win the championship, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. In my books he will remain the better driver than Rosberg. Kudos to Rosberg for having driven better than ever though. I still enjoy Formula 1. There are usually good races going on somewhere on the track still. ...

Re: OT: Racing 2016 (Spoiler Alert)

Hey guys, it's the old Smurfy here :D

Absolutely heartbreaking result for Hamilton.

Does Kimi have a "Kick me" sign on his rear wing?

I wonder what special tricks Honda will use to make them look good in Suzuka?
