So far it looks good. A 3on3 online playground soccer game would rule. Unfortunatly with the 'Street' name attached to it I'm afraid they are going to make it too over the top. Please, EA, rope it in a little on this one.

I own one and it owns the road when it comes to handling. When I first got it when they came out it also was one of the fastest things around in its price range, and while it can still hold its own, the market has become more saturated with high-powered low-priced cars.

Damn, I was hoping EA would have picked it up. :( Are you insane? I hate the homoginized arcade physics EA drops into all of its racing titles.

THQ will hopefully let the devs keep the sim-cade physics the demo had and only tweak the few bad spots like the oversensitive triggers and odd e-brake ...

I really loved VR3 on the Xbox. I still own a copy and while I didn't feel it did for the Xbox what VR2 did for the Dreamcast it was still the best thing for its time (which was around CMR3). Now in the face of CMR4/5 and RSC2 it doesn't come off as well.

I was impressed by the demo and the fact it handles much more realistic than your common street racer arcade title. Not thrilled that THQ is reworking the game until Summer of 2005 though. I would have liked it before Forza comes out.

Yep, same here. Mapped it to the left stick click. Mostly use 1st person when I'm in hallways or tight spaces where the 3rd person camera gets hung up. Out in the open areas I go to 3rd and in most vehicals as well.

I am new here but, for the record, I really like CMR 2005. Also for the record and as a sim fan, Colin should be so much more.

On a whole though the Colin series has never seen much love so don't expect it to get much on there boards.

They are pretty vastly different experiences - especially in the career modes since that is where the bulk of CMR's realism kicks in.

In RSC2 I breezed through career mode without ever adjusting my car settings. In Colin you will have a much harder time dealing with the road if you don't look at ...

Depending on your speed some things break and bend and some don't. It is a mixed bag and anybody's guess so the best thing to do is not hit roadside objects (a good goal I think).
