Re: Hockey Night - 2013

I watched PTI the other night and heard Mike Wilbon refer to Cooke as a Thug. Yes I'm from Pittsburgh. Cooke's skate was a little high but if you lookk at the replay and watched the game Cooke was looking to tie Karlson up while in the same motion protecting himself from taking an elbow to the head ...

Re: NBA 2K12 Thread

I think part of the problem for at least PS3 users is that the player reaction and gameplay is a downgrade from 2K11 which was such a superb game. In my opinion the odd years for 2K have been better than the even years. I felt 2K9 was a great and better game than 2K10. It appears to be a two year ...

Re: Ron Santo Hall of Famer

As a Pirate fan and someone who watched him play this has to be one of baseball's greatest injustice. I knew once he passed the commitee would vote him in. He was a complete ballplayer and should have been enshrined 30 years ago. I believe the good Lord is letting Harry and Ron celebrate.

Disappointed in the Classic Stadiums. The one thing I was looking forward to was Forbes Field and they eliminated the outfield. The uniqueness of Forbes Field was the three tiered right field roof. The game is still akeeper

Kinda strange -- after I load an in-game save, I notice my settings are all changed (difficulty level, camera settings, etc).

Anyone else?
Same here I just ignore it and load my settings from my last desired change .. There are a few minor glitches like I had it freeze at games end. I've read ...

White people are always right, thats the bottom line. Always trying to flip the script and point the finger at someone else. Its the rappers fault, rappers used these words all the time, the old deflection trick. Yes Al and Jesse are at least to me are shaddy and have said some racist thing.

Unfortunately, it's another lost opportunity to unite people of different backgrounds.. Add the Duke Lacrosse situation to the mix and the remarks of Sharpton and Jackson and we have Americas Double Standard. Don't forget the Michael Richards racist tirade. Imus is no different than those clowns. It ...

Imo yes. If he had made the same "joke" about black people I would want his ass canned.

I have absolutely no problem with this standard as long as the same thing applies to guys like Charles Barkley.

There is a double standard against whites. Barkley is the Black Limbaugh and should have been ...

I just bought a '06 Pontiac Vibe. The Vibe wasn't even on my radar until I asked my mechanic for a recommendation. He said he rarely fixes anything major on them. Has a 1.8 litre Toyota engine (same vehicle as Toyota Matrix and 3Ks cheaper) and Consumer Reports gave it a recommendation rating. I ...

Say what? There's only one larger legend in Penguins' hockey, and that's No. 66.

I tried lowering the pitch speed and noticed some deception for the offspeed pitches but I was able to quickly recognize the fastball.

I too fear slideritis as it takes a few games to notice the changes. My scores are still random and Pujols is the only guy throwing off the curve in the stats, as ...

In my opinion with umpire set to wide it most often benefits the pitcher with the higher rating.

For kicks I turned the sliders for power & contact to max (both teams). I figure I'd do it for a few innings knock out the starting pitcher Tim Stauffer and adjust it back to default when a never seen ...

Well I'm at the All-Star break playing between All-Star and HOF. As the fantasyland Pirates (cause the real ones suck), Pujols is hitting 513 with 40Hrs & 109 RBIs. He even hits when I sim the inning he's due up. I have three players tied for 2nd in Hrs with 6 and nobody else has more than 40 RBIS ...

I tried adjusting the sliders every couple innings for variety to keep the games close, so I can set my self up for a save situation. I'm wondering if there is a chemistry thing in this game. Well in my fantasy league I am 19-9. Pujols has 22 Hrs and 33 RBIs (I can't bunt with him and still would be a dinger) and is hitting 607. His player progression is all thumbs down. Veteran, All-Star, HOF he's still a beast.

Rolen hovering around 200 I can't by a HR with him and 5 RBIs. Maybe this ...

There goes my theory. On veteran with no tweaks Washburn 3 hit me in a 2-1 dual with Zach Duke. I had a ball go right through Rolen at third (fielding glitch?), but note he is now something like 3-56 at the plate with all thumbs down. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I also played my first ...
