Re: DiRT Rally

Ok, I have a game question then lol.

Does everyone leave the co driver pace at default, or change it to earlier?

Re: DiRT Rally

I beleive it's top 3 from the week before get the Hyundai, the bottom 3 are the only ones allowed to use the VW, and everyone else can use anything BUT the VW. I'm entirely too lazy to do a screen shot, but i'm pretty sure this is from Germany: Pos. Name Vehicle Time Diff 1st 1 RockjawMcGraw Hyundai...

Re: Ice Dragons: All Hands On Deck

I was a single parent all weekend, so there's no way I was going to last a Dragon night, or even half a Dragon night. I didn't want Jimmy mocking me when I fell asleep after the first game and you had to put up with my snoring in your headsets.......

I just posted the pics on here as links, anyone and everyone should be able to see them? Here, just for you, an album linky thing. https://goo.gl/photos/aSJ45ubVytEubUcr6 And yes, I am playing with the full rotation, but softlock on. I suppose one solution is to just not bugger up the drive and try ...

Re: DiRT Rally

Yeah, they are $179 here in town. I think I will avoid the shifter for now and find a way to live with the paddles. My wheel stand is supposedly on the way, so hopefully it makes it through the mail system before they end up locked out. I think that will do it for now, the wife knows how much the wh...

Btw I can see why people buy a separate shifter. Paddle shifting in this game sucks when you are in panic mode with the wheel spin round.......

Re: DiRT Rally

Thanks. I'll try these and Jimmy's and see what works for my temporary setup. I tried ones suggested by TM themselves and I was sweating as the wheel felt 100 pounds!

Hopefully I'll have time to put these in and finish the dsp rally.

Re: DiRT Rally

I can post the FF Settings I use if you want, Ace. Sure, thanks. I'll see if I can cobble together something temporary. The pedals are the main culprit. Maybe I'll try putting a rubber mat under them, though the main issue is tipping forward when pressing the pedals. Hopefully the strike won't last...

Re: DiRT Rally

My TX wheel arrived today. I tried to take it for a test run connected to a tiny folding table, and lasted about 30 seconds in dirt rally before the pedals were moving across the floor and the Force Feedback was moving the table. I really want a wheel stand now, but it seems the damn postal strike i...

Re: DiRT Rally

I think i've settled on the XL20D. I've been emailing the guy trying to figure out shipping options, as it seems we are headed for a postal strike here in Canada. For me, buying it from his Ebay store ends up being cheaper, but will probably take longer. So I have to decide if $40 is worth getting i...

Re: DiRT Rally

I checked out Terry's suggestion for a stand and it's not sold anywhere in canada, but the wheelstand pro is. So that may be the way to go.P The big problem with the center bar ones is stability. Especially with a wheel like the TX, it needs to be stable. The FF can be VERY strong. Not sure where I...
