I'm out of town 3 to 4 days a week and when I'm home I spend as much time with my family as I can so the PSP is a great system for me. My last 2 games are Virtua Tennis and WE9 and they're tremendous. There seemed to be a little lull there for a while, as far as quality games, but I've probably ...

I picked it up earlier but have only been able to play 5 holes in training/practice mode so far. It reminds me exactly of the console versions. The graphics are great, one review I saw was lamenting the fact that there are only 6 courses (I haven't looked to confirm yet).

I can't wait to get home ...

Any other opinions from people who have been able to play the game over that past few days?

No luck here either, the places that say they did receive some all said they only received 1 or 2 and that those sold to people who pre-ordered.

I have Wipeout Pure and it's a lot of fun, the next on my list is either going to be Hot Shots or Fifa. Leaning toward Hot Shots.

It's interseting how we are all of similar ages. We probably all have the a similar gaming background:

I think the biggest thing is for people to be patient when entering turns with a lot of traffic. It's better to err on the side of caution, like breaking sooner rather than later, and get out of the turn clean; than to dive right into the turn and be involved in a multiple car pile up.

Kudos to all in the races JamesE was hosting last night, didn't see any cut throughs or anything. I had fun, look forward to racing again soon. It is a lot more fun racing with familiar people.

You can't just add names to your friend's list right, you have to send a request to them while they are online?

I got on Live last night and raced in a couple different rooms, never could figure out which room you guys were in. Maybe next time.

I've read a couple posts mentioning the scoring bug happening in a real game, not just situational. Just like the HR/Ground rule double bug, it doesn't happen very often so it can be replicated over and over.

Regarding pitch speed on-line, I would assume lag is the problem.

What is the best pitch speed to use on-line, slow or medium?

Also, the runner scoring from 3rd w/2 outs has not happened to me but I've read other posts about it, the HR counted as a ground rule double happened to me last night in an offline exhibition game against the CPU.

Mine are the bugs that don't happen all of the time (which is great) but when they do happen it's a bummer. Like hitting a HR that's counted as a ground rule double or a runner scoring from 3rd on the 3rd out of the inning.

It definitely could be worse, they could happen more often than they do ...

Yeah, I signed on and got the same name. Also bought Toca 2 on the way home, raced a little bit in career mode. It's a little late now think I'm going to call it a night. When are you guys going to race next?

Down 6-5, bottom of the 9th, runner on 1st, pinch hit home run down the right field line to win the game (or so I thought), it's ruled a ground rule double and I end up losing. Would have been my first win on All-star level, hope they fix that on next year's version.

I got the starter kit yesterday and am going to try to sign up tonight. Hopefully I will be able to use ruiz00tx as my Gamertag.

So to find other DSPers on Live, is there a DSP room or do you just look for familiar Gamertags?

I'm the same way. Not like I have the time, but I bought ESPN MLB on Monday, XBox Live yesterday, and I'm seriously considering stopping on the way home to pick up TOCA 2. Sometimes I wish I were back in college with all the free time I had.
