JRod - off the top of my head, here are a few things to do. First, adjust the front wing to 1-2 degrees (depending on how it feels to you) and lower the rear wing all the way, something like -4. The ride height and camber settings are way off on the junk set-up they give you, so check out your tire ...

XBL Tonight?
Wanted to see if anyone else was going to be on XBL tonight. I'll probably be on playing IndyCar in a little while.
This "fiancee watches a chick flick, I play videogames" deal is a pretty good one!

I'm not PK, and am switching from the PS2 to the XBox across the two versions, but I think the truth may lie somewhere in between the two assesments. Last year, if there was oversteer, I sure as hell couldn't set up the car to encounter it. This year, as we learned at Motegi, the oversteer can be pr...

I mentioned it in the other IndyCar thread, but since it is an offline problem, figure I'd keep shouting about it :) Make the damn AI cars faster at Richmond. If I can run 165, they should be able to run 165. I had the AI set to whatever they call the setting that adapts to you...got smoked at Moteg...

So far, I'm not impressed by the online portion of the game. I was disconnected way too many times (only game this has happened). Beyond that, there seem to be a few major issues. Any AI cars really screw up the race if it goes yellow. Inconsistent speeds. No way should I top out at 210 at Michigan ...

While certainly within the rules and great thinking by the Ferrari, but in my opinion, a very bush league rule. One thing I like about NASCAR is that they bunch up the field before the pit opens. Obviously, with each pit servicing two cars, it wouldn't create the same situation in F1, but I think it...

You know, PK, I was close to writing the Sato-Gilles comparison in my initial post but just couldn't quite bring myself to it. But I think you're right, guys like Barichello and Trulli are lucky to find one passing area on a track. Taku finds (or makes) so many more places to pull of a move. He was ...

I am amazingly turning into a fan of Taku Sato. Watching him dice his way through traffic was some of the best, gutsiest overtaking I've seen in F1 in quite a while. Get a few more drivers like him and Montoya and things could get very interesting. Not sure whose a** the race stewards had stuck thei...

This game has been around some local bars for quite a while up here. I thought it played very well, similar to GT. I think the trackball was a little more sensitive, leading to more hitting errors but also improving the putting--at least for me. As far as how it impacted Golden Tee? Not at all, from...

I had read a few things pointing that direction for Indycar 2005. It makes me feel better about buying the XBox a few months ago, but other than that, it seems to make little sense. If they're bringing it out for the PS2 in Europe, why not bring it out in the series' home market? I don't get it. Loo...

I was not planning on getting a new NFL game this year (was possibly going to get NCAA). Now, I'm going to go and sell Madden for $10 and use that to pre-order ESPN. No way would I have done that if I had to throw down an extra $40 to get a new NFL game. Could be interesting to see how it plays out ...

Awesome pictures. Due to the rain and orders from Tom C. to get out of the stands immediately, I didn't get the picture of me and my old man in the stands I wanted on race day. I'll have to download mine to see if I have any pictures of note to add to this thread. The wait for the next 500 begins an...

I can't stand S.A. Smith, he's like the Mike Jarvis of Basketball commentary. But his schtick has gotten him to the "big time," I remember seeing him on CNNSI and thinking he was a putz. Bill Laimbeer is not exactly a holiday either... I remember I really enjoyed all the catch phrases when they star...

What the F!?! moments in sports games
I just finished a half of NBA Inside Drive, Wolves vs. Lakers to kill time between dinner and the tip and became so frustrated I was nearly throwing things. A what the F first half. Somehow, the Kandi man gets Shaq into foul trouble a couple minutes in the game. I am thinking this is a great thing, ...

I am a Blackhawks fan in hibernation. The current regime gives me nothing to follow. Went to watch them when they came to play the Wild and it was flat out pathetic...a bunch of has beens and never-will-be's playing with a few bright lights. Haven't given up on the team, but have given up hope and f...

Since I'm about 95% sure this is going to be my football game for the year, I might as well jump in. Would like to be either Oregon or Minnesota, depending on how I well I can play with either :) Wouldn't put Purdue out of the picture for me either... can you tell I really don't have a team that has...
