This year´s baseball games & zone hitting
I think you are right NoJoke. I just watched that video on batting and I can only conclude that MVP is not true zone hitting like HH. I know we have seen some reports that say it is, and although the batting may be improved and modified this year I think it still has the same basis as last year´s MV...

Pro Evo Related - any way to make a CD from a DVD?
Perhaps I am not understanding something, but if your computer doesn´t have a DVD drive, how will any software help you make a copy? Are you using another computer to make the copy?

I could´ve sworn I saw something way back when the PC version came out about how to do this though (assu...

PES 3 (PC) or WE7:I (PS2)
Yeah, the demo is huge. It´s because the demo has ALL of the game data in it except commentary. All teams, stadiums, and players are included in the data, but the .exe is set so you can´t choose them. It´s just another example of sloppy programming by Konami for the PC.

PES 3 (PC) or WE7:I (PS2)
I would think all those people that are nervous about the game should expect roughly the same performance with the retail version as they got with the demo.

Personally the retail version runs a little slower for me and has more slow down problems around the box (even with commentary off), b...

Okay, I found the program I think, but it doesn´t seem that 3d analyzer does any analyzing. If you could just post what checks boost performance for PES that would be great, but how did you figure that out? Trial and error?

I know this is something we´ve covered before, but where did you get this 3d analyzer program from? Was it Nvidia only?

Also, how did you set it to 16 bit color? Did you just do that in normal Windows, cuz I don´t see that option in PES like most games have.

McBride to Fulham, Mathis to Hannover
Yeah, it´s true, Fulham has owned some US players before, but they basically never played for the 1st team. There´s a big difference in my mind between starting 11 and a purely reserve team player.

My two cents on the issue...

There are pros and cons to each version.

The PC is nice obviously for all the patching and whatnot, but the performance issues are real. I just got a new graphic card and I am still having performance issues. As a matter of fact, I find the final versio...

Man, it´s too bad Reyna bolted Fulham at the last minute last year to go to City. Otherwise there could have been 3 americans in the starting 11 for an EPL side contending for a spot in Europe (assuming McBride plays as well as he did last year on his loan to Everton). That would´ve been unthinkable...

Have had the game for months, but just finished up with the single player campaign--spend most of my time online.

I remember dying like 5000 times trying to beat that Pegasus bridge mission. I remember it just like Brando said, getting my ass shot down running to the anti-tank gun and runni...

Big Lebowski must be added to the list. That is one of the most quotable movies, and I swear that everytime I see it I see some new, subtle, funny touch that I never even noticed before.

BigBerthaEA (or any other TW 04 PC golfers); Help Needed
You´ll need to get a no-cd executable file off the internet to get around the cd check. gamecopyworld.com has them for most every game. Once you download and use that file in place of the original exe, you won´t need any CD in the drive for the game to run. I do that for a lot of my games so I don´t...

You can add New England and Columbus to the completed kits list. I finished those a while back, and any further work would just be retouching.

Good idea with the Imperial War Museum. Been to London twice and went both times. If you are at all into modern war history you will really enjoy it.

Yeah, pretty amazing, especially considering he was left un-protected in the waiver draft and spent the first two months of the season "working with the goalie coach" and not playing at all. He´s always been a really streaky goalie, and my fantasy team is enjoying it while it lasts.

Thanks Jason. I was probably gonna get some games used and was worried that if they did the game time card thing that it would be partially used up. Apparently I don´t have to worry.

PS2 Online question
I was thinking of picking up the PS2 network adapter, and I was wondering how the game subscription stuff goes. I understand that most of the online stuff is free, but how specifically does it work for EA sports games. Is it similar to the PC system where when you buy a game you get a ´game time´ ca...

Let me clarify about editing the team names. When you edit club info you can change the 3 letter abbreviation to whatever you want, change the text of the team name to whatever you want, and then there is a third category which is the announcer call names. It is for this third category where you wil...

There are two sites I normally visit for files on the PC. First is ProEvolutionline, which is dedicated to the PC version. You should also check out <A HREF="http://forums.evo-...

Yeah, there is a list of call names that you can choose from--like for Man U I chose "Manchester" and for Man City you can choose "City", but I didn´t feel like the list was exhaustive and included everything you would want.

I assume you can edit the fake team names and flags also (without a patch), but if so, will the commentary say the edited names correctly like WE6:I?

Flags and team names c...

MLBPA losing their integrity
Once upon a time, the MLBPA had the moral high ground in all the baseball labor disputes, supposedly fighting merely for the players to get a larger piece of the revenue pie and allowing players to move freely to destinations of their choosing, but the pendulum has kicked back like a b**** for them....
