I have a very god friend that lives there. We meet up at The Mountaineer every week for some damn good fried chicken. I used to train Reserve Units at Holston Army Depot. I also head through to take my son to Rogersville for Boy Scout camp. Pretty place man.

I live off 126 on Old Stage Rd. We ...

You're in my neck of the woods now. I grew up just outside of Kingsport, in a little town called Church Hill. I love it there this time of year.

I'm still in shock over the game! I honestly could not sleep last night. I'm especially happy for the veterans like Glen Wesley.

I have to give a lot of credit to Edmonton. I thought Markkanen did a great job keeping the Oilers in the series. He was put in a very tough situation, and I thought he ...

I still can't believe Stillman made that pass in OT....talk about a mental breakdown.

In a key PP during OT with the Stanley Cup on the line I just don't understand how TWO forwards were about to start the play in Stillman and Staal. Where were the D-men? Was that a Laviolette screw up or line ...

Even though Canes's fans came around 21st in team support during the regular season, a friend of mine attended a few games including last nights and he's all kudos about Carolina's fans. You would have thought you were at an University of Alabama football game, he says. THE best tailgating food in ...

You also can't discount the fact that when the Hurricanes first came to NC, they had to play in Greensboro (which is 1 1/2 hours away from Raleigh) for a while the new arena was being built.

There are a good 15k faithful fans there that deserve it. They have their hardcore faithful just like every other city.

You're missing my point. The "hardcore faithful" in Carolina are among the softest fan base in the NHL if they can only fill the RBC Center to 83 percent of its capacity during ...

I just got back from the game. WOW! That was unbelievable! I'm just glad we came away victorious after being outplayed for 2 periods. It was a very strange game. Between the penalty shot, Roli getting knocked out of the game, and the unbelievable save by Ward at the end, it was a game I'll never ...

He must have a plastic replica at his house, right? Because that's the only Cup Rockin' Rod is hoisting this month.

Take care,

You sure about that?

As positive as Rafael Palmeiro's steroid test.

Okay, so I didn't remember the quote *exactly*, but I still fail to see what the big deal is. Ruff DOES talk a lot. Coaches and GMs say this type of stuff ALL THE TIME after series are over, and this time it's a slightly different wrinkle in that it came from the captain of the team. I don't get it ...

Entire healthy lineup? Granted, we're not missing defensemen like Buffalo, but we ARE missing Erik Cole (30 goals, 29 assists in 60 games played)!
