I'm totally with you. Just goes to show that EA's license grab did nothing but shaft the gamer in the end. It's even more absurd when you realise that the license exclusivity even covers things like VC re-releases of games that were released nearly 20 years ago!

They may not feel like it will be worthwhile releasing Tecmo Super Bowl, since they will have to delete both the player and the team names and logos, not to mention altering the game's name, since I don't think they can use the words Super Bowl in their title.
