I have an OLED LG CX from a few years back that I did the same thing ("recommended settings") and it was fine. But there were times it was going between cutscenes and gameplay and doing that "instant game response activated"...covering up things in the UI I may need or have to read. It got annoying ...

I think my reflexes are so shot at this point that I notice zero difference from any perceived lag.

I turned it off on all of my displays and inputs and never noticed any difference. Maybe if you're trying to play some 240Hz-supported game, but I don't see crap so it's always off.

WoO 24 is f*cking incredible. I'm not playing any other racing games these days. Not even my beloved Forza, Assetto Corsa Competizione or Isle of Man TT 3. That's saying something.


Same. I just completely "retired" from sim racing last year, and haven't missed it. Was just investing so much time ...

WoO 24 is phenomenal. I knew it was going to be something special when I pulled the right trigger and the car shot left....then, mid corner, I let out of the throttle and it DOVE hard to the right, mid corner.

Learning how to use throttle to steer the car is such a big thing in dirt oval racing ...

I tried it without expecting much. Next thing I knew, I played 35 games in one weekend in a franchise (I played full games for a few, then play the moments, and then did offense only for over a season).

I think because I'm apparently not playing defense and seeing the stuff guys are talking about ...

Yeah, loved it on PS4. Loved it on PS5. Might try it again on PC.

I love the fact that even their "hard" mode (I think it was called Lethal?) was breaking tradition of most games. Everything kills, both ways.

So much about that game was iterative, and yet the beauty of the environments, sharp ...

I finally gave it a shot over the weekend...maybe it was just my non-existent expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised.

It still has that trademark Forza understeer, like you have this digital switch you flip, but it's more so on corner exits than entries now. I didn't expect to like it much ...

The real test for me will be how well the force feedback steering is implemented on my Thrustmaster TX Leather wheel and T3PA pedals. I wound up playing more Forza 7 on my PC than I did on my Series X because the force feedback was better implemented on the PC version. I have a feeling it's going ...

I have such a hard time getting into any console racer anymore, really. It's kind of sad.

I tried the latest Gran Turismo, and lasted like 20 minutes. I couldn't get into F1 too much, and have zero excitement for Forza.

It's wild, considering how much time I spend racing. But I'll try it on ...

It took me about a dozen hours to really get into it.

But if you are looking for something as open as No Man's Sky or something, it's not it.

It's basically another "Bethesda RPG (TM)" with spaceship space travel. It got its hooks into me pretty good because I have enjoyed their style of RPG ...

For what it's worth, I think their implementation of New Game+ is pretty slick. I'm on my 5th playthrough at this point, and I'm finding that I'm playing more like "the character" and less "like me" with each run I make. Pretty wild.

It's pretty wild how much this game changes over the course of a play through. Near the end of the story my gameplay was very, very different than the starting missions.

I think I finished the main campaign at around level 40 but it feels like I barely even did anything in this game, with so many ...
