Right now:

Wii
Super Mario Galaxy
Wii Sports (Mainly bowling when I get together with friends)

360 is in the shop, but when I get together with my friends with working ones we usually play NHL 2K8, Guitar Hero III, and Rock Band. But mainly NHL 2K8, we are Canadian after all.

It seems that Guitar Hero and Rock Band are turning into the new things to do at bars/pubs these days. There were several bittersweet moments last night when I pretty much destroyed anybody that challenged me at a local pub. Half of me was saying, "wow, this is pretty cool" while the other half was ...

I used to have it hooked up to a fairly sub-par RCA surround system via optical and it was pretty cool. Now it's just hooked up straight to my Sony 32XBR2, mostly because I game in my room.

I read a lot of the Alfred Hitchcock novels when I was a kid, which is pretty much like the Hardy Boys except they had a real sweet hideout in a dump that I always dreamed of having. I've moved onto bigger and better things, but I think I turned out alright. They'd probably be fairly entertaining fo...

Yeah, this game is really fun when playing it with other people. We actually had some beers and played it last night with five people. The person who did the worst each game had to sit out.

I think my best is like 265 or something, and my friend has bowled a perfect 300.

Jack: Just play hockey instead. You can lay out guys without conscience. :) You might go to the box for two minutes and feel shame, but oh, well. :) I just started playing men's league hockey this year, and man are there ever some douchebags. I once blocked a shot in the shins and it basically half...

Delay confirmed, until 12/20: http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/12/mtv-games-confirms-rock-band-delay-for-canada-coming-dec-17/ This is garbage. I like how they didn't even make pre-orders available until last week and now they delay it after grabbing everybody's pre-order money. It's delayed because t...

Not good news for F1 fans because between the two companies Sony produced the better F1 games for their consoles whereas EA's F1 console games where crap. The only EA F1 game that was good was F1 Challenge '99-'02(PC) the very last year on their F1 license before they lost it to Sony. At the very l...

It's really unfortunate how poorly the league interface has been implemented for NHL 08. Obviously, the 2K system has had its bugs but it seems as though EA's setup is near useless.

Re: New low-price ‘compact’ PS2 to arrive in 2008

The news will surely come as a blow to Sony rivals Nintendo and Microsoft, who have see sales of PS2 suffer somewhat due to the introduction of Wii and Xbox 360 in recent years. Other than this being a poorly written paragraph, I don't get how this will be a blow to Nintendo and Microsoft. I mean, ...

Even regular (non-HD) Sony Trinitron sets are still very highly respected but they lack that certain sexy appeal that flat panels have. Hey fletch, I'm not sure of a site that actually does this, and that's primarily because of the amount of bandwidth that would have to be used for each stream when it is of such high quality. You might find some maybe for TV shows (I've seen a few high quality streams for Family Guy, for instance) b...

Did you get the PHp stuff to work, Air? What's your league site look like? The league's site is still up at www.xshockey.com but we don't use the PHP stuff anymore because of the automation being setup on 2K's end. It's not quite as robust as what I had going, but it also provides for trades and ch...
