That's a good comparison as both games do play a lot alike. The only major difference I could tell between these games is that the controller doesn't vibrate playing DiRT 2 like it did while playng RalliSport Challenge. I really miss that. Heh, most people didn't like the excessive controller vibrat...

Hey, GB_Simo, the background music wasn't on while I was playing the DiRT 2 demo. So there may be an option to turn that off if you don't want to hear it. Anyway, as many have already pointed out, DiRT 2 does lean toward the arcade side in terms of handling. One thing I noticed right away driving th...

2 Honda victories today. Life is good :) That was my 1st Moto Gp race this year. For some reason it was shown on Fox. They're usually on Speed aren't they? Don't forget that the second U.S. Grand Prix at Indy later this year will be shown on FOX too. Anyway, the U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca was s...

Dammit... just minutes after I started to get excited about seeing AI tonight, I find out he cannot play because Chauncey Billups has yet to take and pass his physical for the Nuggets.

How does the new Indy circuit look in the game? I've been recently doing test runs on the Indy road circuit in Time Attack mode using Colin Edwards. It's a completely flat course that has mainly sweeping medium-speed and low-speed corners along with some tricky S-curves and very little curbing. I r...

I've been really impressed with the Simulation handling model. In the previous versions of MotoGP that was developed by Climax it was possible to ride on and off the curbs at speed without much worry. But not so in this game. One can easily lose the bike if that's done in this game, especially while...

I don't think Hamilton should get a violation for the incident because he did give up the first position (albeit briefly) to Raikkonen on the start/finish straight after all that contact was made at the Bus Stop chicane. I would think differently about this had Hamilton stayed in first position and ...

I haven't forgotten about you, JohnnytheSkin. A relative had borrowed my Forza game for a while (since just before the Olympics started) and I've just gotten it back.

You can have all my FWD cars. I have to take a closer look at the AWD cars, though. I like a few of them very much.

Heh, which cars do you want? I have them all, but could care less for owning most of the C- and D-class cars.

A warning!

Just a heads up for serious SC IV players: Beware when facing any Ivy players online or offline in any competitive vs. matches! I say this because you all will probably see many, many more people playing with her once this gets around. What, you ask? Apparently Ivy has an infinite move that is ridic...

Yeah, I would say all the series that are shown in grey boxes are inaccessible in private sessions. The Ford Doran JE4 is a fairly driveable prototype that doesn't have as much power as any of the other prototype race cars. The LMP2 cars (Lola B05/40 and Courage C65) are easy prototype race cars to ...

Good stuff again, GB_Simo. Thanks for the response. It's too bad that the CPU cars don't take the human's car into account whenever navigating their racing line for majority of the time.

Very nice impressions of the game, GB_Simo. Most of this stuff sounds encouraging to know. And that's a good touch on the part of Eutechnyx to have Tiff Needell involved in providing analysis. It seems as if the AI cars tend to drive too defensive in the corners at times. Have any of the cars that f...

About two weeks ago, IGN of UK posted a review of Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli for the PS3 that's already released in Europe. Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli review Sounds really good. I want to read and know more about how this game is. Has anyone from Europe who post here played it yet? If so...

Not surprising to me. The foundation of the physics has been laid out well in GRID already with the ultra-responsive steering and lack of side-to-side weight transference (body roll), which is right up the alley of an F1 car. All that's left as far as handling is concerned is to increase difficulty ...

It's about time this patch has arrived. Still doesn't stop all the corner-cutting that has run rampant in online racing due to lack of penalty/red time for going off-track. But other than that, I like the changes.
