Thanks, Dan. My skill level isn't great, mainly due to aging reflexes. I would just like an EA NHL game to play proper hockey offline for ONCE in the last 10 years. I guess that's too much to ask but not surprising considering probably 95 percent of the people who play this game live for online play...

NASCAR Heat 5 and Ignition both suck massive balls. The last decent NASCAR console game was NASCAR Heat 4. If you just want an oval game and aren't wedded to NASCAR, buy World of Outlaws 24. You went a step further than me. There's no chance in hell EA has fixed the single-player gameplay in this game, which has been broken for more than a decade.

The NHL franchise is the sh*ttiest in the EA lineup, by a MILE.

The 2024 version of World of Outlaws Sprint Car Racing kicks ass. Something like 10 series and more than 40 tracks available in basic game. Tearoffs available in basic game.
