I agree, Courier was a good player, he was just shadowed with his excellent peer buddies like Sampras, Agassi, and for a bit M. Chang. But he was a fighter, never die attitude.

...it's because the owners would be sacraficing a couple rows of "premium" seating. No way in hell that passes. They don't lose money when they make the pads smaller or the goals bigger...when you start cutting into their bottom line, they don't like that. Then we'll be back at square one, no one l...

Whichever network, someone that knows the game and telecast it properly, plz! Being the 1st proffesional team sport to lose the whole season is embarrasing enough, thanks to the "I don't care attitude" by players and the league alike. Regarding the many changes that are being discussed, probably eli...

Not to mention the dissapearing act of probably 1-2 teams based in the US. My guess: Nashville, Columbus, Carolina? That's probably going to be a big issue, in my opinion Bettman allowed the NHL to expand too fast and I also heard that perhaps the teams in Anaheim & Phoenix are in trouble. The ESPN ...

NHL, closer to agreement...Finally!

The agreement reportedly includes a dollar-for-dollar luxury tax that would kick in at the midway point between the salary floor and the salary cap. The resulting luxury tax dollars would be redistributed among lower-revenue teams. If the numbers are accurate, the union will be accepting a deal much...

On the PSP version I am still giving too many HR's. I was playing the Orioles vs Boston and they homered 3 times in 1 inning alone. Anyone has some interesting sliders to recommend? Again we're talking about the PSP version.

Nice to hear Carlitos Tevez's name again, and I was happy to see my River Plate boy Javier Mascherano in the Argentina midfield. Didn't hear the name of the future midfield magician of Argentina, Andres D'Allessandro, named, though. He was in the squad. Take care, PK[/quote] I tried to get the site ...

Argentina-Brazil (spoiler info)

It's the game of the day for the world cup qualifiers. After the 1st half, Argentina is up 3-0 against the champs. But will see after 90 min, that team is capable of everything even without Ronaldo playing. A pity that such a classic is not shown around. Anyone watching it?

Barcelona just hired the best coach (in my opinion) that could finally make Atletico challenge Real like the good old days. Hs name is Argentinian manager Carlos Bianchi who's won everything with Boca Juniors. His main man will be Roman Riquelme. Barcelona will be HOt city.

nadal's serve is rubbish quick, who won last year? The answer is G. Gaudio. Nadal lost today in his first grass match in Germany. Still give him credit for trying. For those tennis players out there that understands the game, the transfer from Clay to Grass is not that easy, never mind changing sur...

Federer is the #1, without a doubt, he's proven and last year he was unbeatable. When I first saw Nadal live (Miami 2004), you could sense a different player, this guy is pumped all the time. But he's only 19, he's got a world ahead of him still. Federer at his age was seen as the next Sampras. Nada...

I caught alot of Sportscenter coverage over the last week on the French Open and you are definately spot on with your assumption. Nadal is "THE" future of tennis, plain and simple. Except the Capri pants will hold him back. Any dude that wears capri pants, especially on the tennis court, is destine...

Rafael Nadal, the next #1

Whoever missed the French Open finals today, missed a great game. Rafael Nadal is only 19 and he'll be around for a long time in the tennis world. To see him scramble and reach impossible balls was amaizing. He got heart, speed and charisma. Watch out Federer. The next tennis game can sign this guy ...

Personally, I started to finally enjoy the Xbox and the FPS from Halo 2 on. I still think the box got a lot of juice left and hopefully the games will keep on coming. I also realized that the price of the box games come down much faster or start cheaper than the PS2. Who's really ready for the 360?

One thing about being "ahead" in scoring against the CPU is that the AI may seem to be upped in speed and skill ,but it's also fragile in the counterattck dep't. The CPU defense is usually back t only the last 3 man and if you look for some quick holes in their D and have quick forwards with quick p...
