It really sucked that we couldn't get everyone in the game. If we'd had ten guys, we could have had a private game and either myself or Diablo coildve just bowed out, but you need at least eight to start any private game, so it wasn't happening.

I really wish it worked more like ShadowRun or Halo ...

Zep and others - thanks for the invite last night. That was my first time with the game (didn't play the demo) and after being a little shell shocked for the first few rounds, it really came together in that last game we played. It was also nice to play with people who actually communicate and go ...

The final statement from the Congresswoman before the 15-minute break was sickening, and I'm slightly paraphrasing: "Mr. Clemens, I can assure you you will go to heaven."

Huh? The relevance of that?

Take care,
PK

The relevance of that was to point out that Clemens must be the most forgiving ...

Laraque needs to be suspended for at least a couple of games. What a cnut.

Crosby doesn't seem to dive any more than other superstar forwards do, but his constant whining sticks out like a sore thumb. At least, it does when he plays the Flyers.

You're only saying that because you're a Flyers fan ...

A good column about Crosby's insane work ethic:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/columns/story?columnist=johnson_george&id=3150030&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab8pos1

The story points out exactly why I always use Crosby as a role model athlete to highlight for my kids. A very nice guy who works tirelessly ...

Count me among the few who have this game. I went through the Naval Academy this weekend, but have yet to play the game in any other setting. I'm really digging the game so far though, so feel free to send me an invite as I'd like to give it a go online.

There is a lot of weird weapon balancing problems it seems to me. I feel like I can only kill people with one or two weapons in mulitplayer, the others don't do enough damage or I don't know how to use them, but then I get killed by a submachine gun from a mile away.

Given the way the UMP45 ...

That was some good times last night. I'm really liking the slow pace of the games and the lack of frags.

Next time we should try some retrieval. It's still tactical and values teamwork and coordination, but there's a lot less standing around since there are respawns.

I wish someone had told me about this strikeout stuff before I grew up idolizing Mike Schmidt. I (and Bill James) thought he was the best 3B of all time, but he did lead the NL in strikeouts 4 times and he does rank 6th on the all-time K list. Hell, he even struck out 180 times one year!

All these ...

Lots of fun last night, guys. I usually end up playing "vote for the next map" games, so I hadn't ever played a few of those maps last night. That was also the most friends I've had on one team before, which resulted in the most talking and most communication I've seen in that game so far as well ...

Hey all. As Sully said, I'd love to play tonight if there's room for me. I'm currently in the OS clan, but BF2 seems to be very low on everyone's interest meter over there hence my seeking involvement in the DSP clan. Sully and a few others will vouch for me, if necessary.

Lookin' forward to gaming ...
