Crafted 100% of the attachments I can, I didn't really touch anything else. I don't know if you end up getting better stuff somewhere, but I would rather have manufacturer bonuses on gear, and usually have a bunch of high end or purple weapons that I can use at any given point, so burning resources crafting them is a waste.

But those accuracy+stability attachments are golden, as XXXIV said. They cut the "+30 rounds" clip for assault rifles down to +10, so I'm experimenting with more weapons, as well.

I'm having a fantastic time taking my time on PC, and going SUPER SLOW on XBox, since I only have a 2 hour window each night to play co-op with the wife. But some of the internal debates on whether to equip that fancy new High End chestpiece with 10% assault rifle damage, or instead the one with +250 skill power...which would then allow me to equip that better mod on my chem launcher to increase the radius of my healing cloud.

It feels like I'm always mixing and matching gear pieces every 5th fight, when I replace something and change my entire gameplay style.

Impeccable gameplay loop.

I saw you guys playing but after spending the two previous nights with PK, I needed a break. 8)

I didnt see myself getting addicted to it but the rpg elements and the the fact that it is NOT a 1st person shooter made it work. At least for now. A grinder I am.

Already? Don’t you have anything better to do. 8)

Now, the fun really begins. Tiers 1, 2, 3...Grenade launchers, yeah. You’re just scratching the surface.

Many more missions await.

It's early days with The Division 2, but since it's an improved version of the incredible The Division in almost every way, I'm comfortable in calling D2 my favorite shooter and favorite video game of all time.

If you're into shooters and don't have this game, buy it now. If you're into looting and crafting games that are done right and don't have this game, buy it now.

The Division 2 is that good, folks.

P.S.: You know a game has legs when you say you're in "early days" with it and already have played for more than 40 hours. :)

Congrats!

I'm slowly working my way there on XBox. On PC I'm not much faster (I'm only in World Tier 2 with a 305 Gear Score at the moment), but that gameplay loop they give you is superb. I started out at something like 254, and within 30 minutes I was up at 280. Then it took me a while to go up to 299, and when I finally knocked down the first Black Tusk stronghold, I instantly got several 312 or 320 pieces that bumped me up more.

But now I was in World Tier 2, so I didn't feel as powerful. I know as I gain another 50 points or so, however, it will be like the World Tier 1 experience, where I was at the top of the "cap" for that, so I'll go back to feeling like a superhero again, stomping the missions and Strongholds with minimal effort.

That little loop of going from weak-to-powerful, back to weak and starting it all over again with showers of High-End Loot beams is intoxicating. The fact that the tactics completely change just makes it feel so fresh and new, rather than thinking "oh God, more grinding..." like I've run into in so many other games once I hit that max level.

I could not take seeing all these positive reviews any longer. Purchased the standard Division 2 today since it is part of the Spring Sale. May need some assistance navigating this one tonight if anyone is interested in having a laugh and making fun of how much I suck. :)

The Donald:

Welcome to the band, man! As Teal has said, this game and its predecessor are so much fun that we all have no problem replaying missions to help a buddy reach the end game sooner.

The only problem is that when Level 30s join your game, you automatically will be ramped up to Level 25 in any mission you attempt. That leaves you largely as a bystander until you get a good gun. Do whatever you can -- loot boxes, complete missions, etc. -- to get an Mk17 rifle. Once that happens, let us know. Even a low-level Mk17 can take down Level 25 foes, even if you're at a much lower level.

Don't be afraid to matchmake with randoms. I don't know why, but both Division titles tend to attract an older, more mature shooter gamer. I've rarely run into COD-Overwatch twits while playing with randoms and have played with some really cool people who have become XBL friends.

Can't wait to play with you. Enjoy every second. The Division 2 is a tall achievement in gaming. Truly remarkable title.

Loving this one. Leveling slowly as I spend too much time just wandering around looking for the lost art and getting every tech case I can.

Last three nights soloed the three missions needed to get to tier 2.

Exhilarating though tonight's, District Union Arena, took me 2 hours. A true testament to my suckage. The first were relatively "easy" but I dont want to solo the third mission need to move up a tier ever again.

The game can be played solo as I have done over 90% of it that way but its much MUCH better with you guys.

Sucks when you get to the stronghold to get to Tier 3, and the PC version "freezes" for a second at a time, and you end up dying in the last room because you're frozen out of cover while being shot by 4 yellows at the same time
