Biggest gaming bust of the current generation of consoles.
Its worth a shot now. Tried a few minutes and just couldnt get into it.

I loved the first three to death but this one just seems so scattered and dull....

I will try again at some point.

At least you didn't pay $60 for it, like some of us dumb asses.

I don't get the entire "remastered" craze these days in gaming, especially if I already played the title on a previous-gen console. I have played COD: Modern Warfare. I have played Burnout Paradise. Why would I want to pay $40 for the "privilege" of playing them again, all just for pretty graphics?

Then again, I don't own any DVDs, either. I watch a movie once and move to the next one.

So maybe it's just me.

Some of the remastereds I like. Especially when they're in 4K on the One X (Burnout is, Assassin's Creed Rogue is, etc.).

For old games that didn't even do a full 1080p back in the day, they're kind of fun to see in the current gen.

However, they better be like 30 bucks to get it, unless it's something like The Last of Us, or something amazing.

Been my experience that remasters fall in price pretty quickly. The usually have a week 1 hype where they get all the rabid fans of the game and then within a month the price drops so if there is anything I am interested in I wait. Truth be told I have so many games I haven't finished yet that I'm starting to slow my role on buying new ones unless it is or real interest to me.

Now if they ever remade those X-men games from the original Xbox or the Mech Assault games I would snap those up in a second.

Burnout Paradise was a reallly a fun arcade mindless racing title back in the days. Luv the sense of speed in Burnout. I did buy the hard copy to replay some of those fun moments and to check the better visuals. If you haven’t played the game it’s a lot of fun, or wait a few weeks to shave 10 dollars off.

While I enjoyed Burnout Paradise, I really wish they chose to remaster Burnout 3. It's the best Burnout that EA did after acquiring the franchise. Still, Burnout 2 remains as my favorite Burnout game to this date.

Two of the reviews I read said basically the same thing. The remaster looked good, shame they picked Burnout Paradise for their choice. I also would have gone with Burnout 3.

Good point. We all have favorites we'd love to see remastered. Teal and I agree we would cream our jeans if Full Spectrum Warrior was remastered. Fat chance, but two fellas can dream. :)

Yep. The Burnout games focused more on speed and less on destruction as the series added more titles.

The carnage of the crashes provided the most appeal of the early Burnout games for me. Nothing like it at the time, not even in Twisted Metal and other carmageddon games.

NBA Live 18 available in EA Access Vault.

Not as realistic or nearly as deep as NBA 2K18, but I think it has more "pick up and play" fun factor. I despise the new shot meter in 2K this year, and the player movement still feels "sticky," with pre-scripted animations that sometimes don't fit the on-court situation.

I played a 24 game season. Was fun.

I bought it when it went on sale for nine bucks. Forgot about my damned access account, but it's a fun game of basketball. Still would much rather play NCAA.

Same sh*tty offline code as the last four versions! I downloaded NHL 18, and the game plays just as stupidly in offline play as NHL 14-17.

Oh, joy. Especially considering I'm picking up FIFA 19 today at Best Buy.

Dropping the previous year's game into the Vault on release date for the current game better not become a trend for Access. Total BS.

Have you played NHL 19 yet? I think it's a step up from NHL 18 for sure with regards to game play.

Yes, I've played the full version through the EA Access trial. Different year, same sh*tty teammate AI on both ends for single-player games.

The AI-controlled human teammates in the defensive end continue to be out of position and a step slow getting to loose pucks, leading to lopsided shot totals for the CPU team. And the AI-controlled human teammates also do a horrible job cycling the puck in the offensive end. This is nothing new to EA hockey, especially on the Simulation base settings that I use.

It's obvious EA doesn't care about offline players with the NHL franchise, which probably makes sense considering it's a popular online title.

No worries. The continued crap offline play will save me $48. :)
