i'm looking to buy a racer to play on xbl and would appreciate if someone could compare and contrast them.
fun factor, learning curve, lastability, etc. thanks.

I think they are both fun. In its prime MGP2 was the best Live game going.
Now there are alotr more people playn PGR at least thats how it was a couple of months ago.
PGR is easer to pick up and play. MGP2 and be unforgiving to beginners.
They both have staying power due to Live but PGR probably has more to do offline.
Both are excellent and now that TOCA is out I think you should seriously consider it. Im thinking its going to be the NEW hot game online.
