Rookie League.

Post by YoungstownSteelheads »

Is it possible to have the Rookie league season last a little longer in future seasons? Or maybe we need a short season A ball league? The Rookie League is in the postseason just as the draft is finished.

As it is the choices are to let the new 19 and 20 year old kids get their feet wet in A ball or let them sit until next year.

No that I know of. The best thing to do is to move up the rookies that are a little more advanced. Otherwise, that's how real baseball works. Most rooks don't start playing until the following year unless they are ready to play A ball or SS A ball.
