OT: The Official Buying and Selling Thread

For those of you looking to sell your XBOX's on Ebay.
Yesterday I placed mine up for auction after reading a thread over at OS. It sounded like the market was flooded and that I wouldn't get much for it so I may have low balled myself.
For those wondering what the going rate is, I was able to get 200 +25 shipping on the following package.
XBOX
- 2 1st party controllers (one S and Big Mac)
- 1 1st party mem card
- NBA 2K6
- NHL 2K6
- NCAA 06
- Madden 06
- Advanced AV Pack.
I had a buyout of 200 for it, and it was gone in less than 2 hours.

That's a pretty cool system! It's actually tempting, but I am sure it will go for much more than I would want to spend.AtXj wrote:Im putting mine up in a few minutes. Mine is a little different than most but I will let everyone know what I got for it.

$200 shipped, do you have the original parts?AtXj wrote:If anyone was still interested in my Xbox on eBay, they finally realized it was modded and took down my listing so it's open to the highest bidder.
PM me if your still interested.

What is up with selling on Ebay? I'm trying to unload my PSP for $225 with two games and I've got no bids, no watchers, nothing! It's as if buyers don't even see it when they search for it. I believe I've got it listed under the right catagory and sub catagory (video games/systems).
Just getting tired of the b.s. from Ebay that charges me 7 or 8 bucks to list it and nobody even bids on it. Feel like I'm getting strung along from Ebay because I don't buy into their other services to present it better.

Exactly my point...225 is high, even with a couple of used games. Most likely the games aren't even ones the buyer wants anyway. You're always better off selling the games completely separate.Sully wrote:I sold my PSP, with no games, for 180 dollars, plus 20 bucks for shipping. Great point. That's why I never package my games with a system.dbdynsty25 wrote:Exactly my point...225 is high, even with a couple of used games.
