I have been to 5 chinese food spots in my area and I have yet to find ANY General Tso's let alone a good one. My buddy, who just moved here from Atlanta, is a fan too and he was pissed when we ordered chinese last night and they didn't have it. Crap I say.

The General Tso's here in Austin is heaven. It is all I get when eating chinese and there are two local spots that make the best General Tso's I have ever eaten.

There's a place here in Ottawa, Golden Palace, that I took the girlfriend too. The first time we went, she said "You want to order what?!? Who the hell is General Zoo?"
Now, when we go, it's "Make sure you get some of the Zoo chicken!"
mmmmm, another convert.
No wonder I've been dating her for a year and a half.
Oh, that and her usual response when I say I bought another game for the Xbox or PC is "Meh, it's your money."

mmm, too bad I just ate. Then again, it was a fine Vienna Beef polish, so no complaints...except from my arteries.

I don't have a lot of experience eating in GA but what experience I do have tells me that this dude will forget all about the General's chicken. In a country of the blind, the one eyed man is king

Man, I was pretty damn close to there over at Dreamland BBQ for lunch today. I will have to try the General at Sunny sometime soon.

My in-laws have a Chinese place that serves amazing General Tso's. I always like the kind that has the darker, spicier sauce than the more orangish kind. We always eat there when we come to visit.

That's not even General Tso's chicken in the picture. Read the cutline in the upper left: It's General Tso's Beancurd.
HERESY! Disgusting.
Take care,

I love trying to cook stuff I eat at restaurants at home so tonight's effort is The General.
If it's any good I'll post the recipe for you guys to try, or to badger your wives or girlfriends to make for you.

There's a place by my in-laws that makes amazing General Tso's. I usually like it more if it's in a browner spicy sauce, instead of the orangish sauce that a lot of places use.
Never has something that takes so many years off your life been so worth every bite.
