 Haven´t abandoned SR but I´d lurked here for awhile -- actually knew about the old digitalsports.com long before sportsreviewers.com.

 Steeler... FG came to the SR chat room last night and he seems to be doing well at school.
 
 After all the worries about his roommate, not having a TV in his room and no ps2 at school, his floor won an XBOX at orientation. So he still has video games. His roommate, it turns out was the one most excited about the prize.
 
 Like most kids who move away from home for the first time, he´s dealing with being homesick -- though I think his mom misses him more than he misses home. He said his mom had called six times in two days.
 
 He´s also dealing with some of those decisions that you are forced into as you are making friends. Do you go out with this group of girls who are going to the bar or do you go play hoops with this group of guys here.
 
 Still it sounds like he is gonna be fine at Lafayette.

 Dude is an only child, right? That would explain it.
 
 I was the fourth of four kids in our family to go to college. I had to call my parents to remind them I was still there, even after the first week. <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_smile.gif">

 Been busy with family, and sports games have recently taken a back seat for me as I´ve rediscovered my love of PC flight sims. FS2004, IL-2, Flanker 2.51 and soon Falcon 4.0.
 
 I´ve actually joined a Falcon 4.0 Virtual Fighter squadron... going to be interesting.
 
 I´m still playing the occasional game of WE6, NCAA 2004, and TW2003 PC career mode (perfect for those quick 10-20 minute gaming sessions.) When the nephews come over we play Midtown Madness 3.
 
 I´ve got a subscription to a Canadian version of gamefly, so some Xbox and PS2 games will start coming my way for me to try. (Edit: Just got an e-mail saying CMR3.0 for Xbox has been sent to me.)
 
 Might have to rent Island Thunder and join you guys some night.
