I saw in the other thread that some of you were concerned that the Cards/Astros game 1 won't be available tonight for some...especially Comcast cable subscribers. Well, at least here in Philly, Comcast SportsNet WILL BE airing the game at 8 pm. They just announced it on Daily News Live. I know The DC area and Chicago have Comcast SportsNet also. Just thought I would alert those that care. The Yanks/Red Sox game will be on the normal Fox affiliates.

Been a Cards fan since 1965. Late this season I thought the Cards being in the Series was a foregone conclusion. Then the Astros got hot. at first I didn't pay them much attention considering all the ground they had to make up. They stayed hot and I started to sweat for imo they are the only team that has the bats to compete with Stl and the pitching to contain their offense. they're (Houston) the hottest team in baseball and I'm more nervous than a whore sitting through a Sunday sermon.
Sportdan they had me sweatin', buddy. It is still my fear that Clemons, Oswalt, and Petitte will cancel out the Redbirds bats. I think the Cards pitching will be hard pressed to contain the Astros sluggers as well. I'l be one happy fellow if I'm wrong though.
