Anyone else having control problems with NFL 2K3 for Xbox?

Man, the controls in NFL 2K3 for the Xbox are tough. You need to POUND the buttons to get any kind of controller input at all with the Controller S, and it´s not much better with the standard Xbox controller.

It´s really ruining the game for me. I´m spending more time worrying about whether my controller input will be accepted rather than football tactics.

Anyone else having this problem?

Think I found the answer to this problem: The original Xbox controller.

The buttons on the good, old "dinner plate" original Xbox controller seem a lot more sensitive to input than the Controller S.

Glad I discovered this because the game is excellent and big fun!

Paul,
I got a chance to play the Xbox version the other night(with the "dinner plate") and it was a painful experience! You have to mash the pulp out of those buttons! Is the PS2 version suceptible to this?
I heard there are no problems with the PS2.

It´s funny: I´ve read some posts in which people say the button-sensitivity problem is alleviated with the Controller S, and others, like me, say the standard controller is better.

Maybe it´s all in our minds. Either way, I´m used to the button sensitivity now, and it´s not an issue.

NFL 2K3 for the Xbox is an amazing game.

I don´t know what it is, but i just couldn´t get into 2K3, despite the fact that it´s supposed to be so good. I didn´t really even like the visuals very much, and this was on the Xbox version! Some of the animations are great, but some looked wierd. Is it me, or does the basic run animation look like the guy just sat on a bedpost?
I dunno-it just didn´t do anything to pull me away from NCAA 2003. Glad you´re loving it though!
