Zeppo,

Just curious, what are the asterisks next to the names, or are these the people that have already confirmed?

I put them there as people confirm. It's just for me, so i can see the numbers quickly and easily, can make a list for invites without having to re-read the thread 100 times, etc. etc.

I would like to be an alternate if possible. I played for the first time last night and found myself back in love with this game.

Not sure if I'll make it or not. Have an outing with the wife planned. If I'm not on right on time, I won't be there.

Sorry to be wishy-washy, I'd officially list myself as highly questionable, nearly doubtful.

No worries. As a driver seeded into the race, you technically have up until we start the actual 1.5 hr race to get in. All alternates understand that they might get bumped at the end of each session, sometimes even after the qualifying race, although that's never happened.

Sometimes I forget to check for people, and ususally it's not a big deal. But all showing up late does for you is make you miss out on the warm-up and the quali, which would put you at the back of the grid.

So, don't apologize for being wishy-washy. If you show up, you show up, if you don't you don't.

squid, baby, do the math. Just by signing up you are an alternate, and there are 2 guys who have yet to confirm. So you've got a good chance, but no guarantees!

Great racing last night, fellows. So, we had a chaotic mix-up with the grid, big deal. It made the race a little more interesting, i guess. Congrats to Fshguy, who led wire-to-wire, Ringbearer who took 2nd, and Mix who earned a big 5 points by just missing the podium in 4th place. That was super close, Mix, as you came out of the pits, and I was feeling the pressure those last 5 laps or so. Great stuff!

DSP ToCA MLR DTM Series Championship Standings:

Round 3 of the DSP ToCA MLR DTM Series took place last night at the Eurospeedway, with Fshguy earning his first win of the series. Ringbearer took 2nd, and CP Zeppo worked up from last on the grid to take the last spot on the podium.

After an uneventful warm-up session, and a chaotic qualifying race, an apparent computer error jumbled the grid positions. After a false-start, the race was restarted, but the grid remained in random order. This led to a complete shuffling of the grid, and Fshguy wound up starting on the pole. MixDJ1 also got a great starting position, and solid driving and a late pit strategy propelled him to a 4th place finish. Host James_E finished off the podium for the first time in the DTM series, taking 6th place behind BBReBozo. Rounding out the points paying positions were pigpen81 in 7th, and Spooky157 taking the single point in 8th place. JackB1, Neckthai, and newcomer Fsquid finished out of the points.

DSP MLR DTM Series Round 3:
  • 10 Fshguy
    8 Ringbearer
    6 CP Zeppo
    5 MixDJ1
    4 BBReBozo
    3 JamesE
    2 pigpen81
    1 Spooky157
    0 Neckthai
