Interesting Xbox live move... 14 minutes

For an Xbox live movie, cut and paste this into your browser. Shows account creation, login, a bit of NFL2K3 (no gameplay), some "Whacked!" gameplay, and demonstrates the voicemasking. Man this voice masking looks like it could be annoying. Funny sometimes... but mostly likely just annoying.

 Thankfully I´ve read that voice can be turned off if some punk decides to use an annoying voice mask.
 
 But you must admit that the prospect of playing a buddy online without voice masking is cool as hell. My brother-in-law -- who lives two hours away -- and I are geeked beyond belief to play NFL 2K3 on Xbox Live. The trash talk will be overflowing ... <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_smile.gif">

How do you watch this? I have wmp the most recent one and it can´t read it.
 
 Anyway, I was thinking of selling my xbox, but maybe 2k3 online will let me keep it. Even though I have it online for ps2, but the other games like nhl2k3 online looks good.

 Did you say you have WinAmp? This is a Windows Media Player (WMA) movie, so it will work on Windows Media Player.
 
 I think the WinAmp 3.0 has WMA compatibility, but I´m not sure. But this movie definitely will work on Mr. Bill´s player.

 Damn straight! Even with the voice-masking it will be great. Possibly annoying, but the online part makes up for that. Can´t wait to put my crappy gaming skills up against the greats of DSP and SR.

I believe the voice interaction will be used to make long distance calls via xbox since you don´t get charged by the phone company <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_smile.gif">

 That would be nothing new, since people have been using internet phone programs to make calls like this since the mid-90´s.
 
 Not for me though. No Box and my DSL is my second-biggest headache right now.
