 Thanks - hope you enjoyed the game. I´ve just about dried out now (Manchester´s usual torrential downpour right on time again), and after a couple of pints, I´m back at the keyboard.
 
 Good play by both sides, but Bluedolf kept my bet up with a couple of key saves and i thought we could have had another couple in the first half. Still, Dyer could have had a couple as well, and the atmosphere between the fans was excellent..it´s a long way from Newcastle to Manchester (say 3 hrs drive), particularly for a 12.15 kick off, but Newcastle brought a good 3,000.
 
 Only 37 more points for safety !

 Didn´t see the match, fortunately or unfortunately. It´s not on here on free cable TV until Monday on Fox Sports World. I´ll watch it then, as I´m too cheap for pay-per-view unless it´s a huge fixture. Plus the IRL is racing this weekend, so I´m working.

 I feel your pain. The day Time Warner Digital here in Syracuse drops Fox Sports World is the day I drop Time Warner and buy a dish.
 
 FSW is the one cable channel I must have over any other, even Speed and ESPN.

I have never gotten Fox Sports World, it totally sucks. We have Comcast Sportsnet in Philly which sometimes becomes Fox Sports World so I´ve gotten a taste.

 Heskey and Diouf linked up like they have played together for two seasons, not two games. Scary, really.
 
 Looks like Sir Bobby is going to shell out $8.5 million for Brett Emerton of Feyenoord. Newcastle is quite midfielder-rich now. I would like to see some coin spent on one more defender.

 Watched part of the first half of Man City-Newcastle on Fox Sports World last night.
 
 Man, Huckerby was possessed in the first half. It looked like he was playing for a spot in the national team -- around the ball constantly.
 
 Un-f*cking-believable that Dyer missed that open net a few minutes after Huckerby´s goal. Scoring that goal should have been as simple as kicking the ball in the sea while your feet were getting wet from the tide lapping your toes on the beach.

Fun match, including the traditional Mancunian greeting of torrential rain (I stand to be corrected, but I think Manchester is still officially Europe´s wettest city..although it doesn´t get flooded).
