I read Gators´ post at SR and thought I would stop by. I´ve always enjoyed this site, although I don´t check it as often as I would like. I´m sorry to see you leave SR, but I´m sure you will be a great addition here and there can never be too many good gaming sites and forums.

Good luck and I look forward to your future contributions and posts.

I´m another SR refugee... coming over to see what all the fuss was about over here. You didn´t think you´d get rid of me that easy did you PK?

I have Madden 2003 for the PS2, but I´m still mildly dissappointed in the title.

I think online play will probably change my view of the game -- everything I´ve read and heard about online play has me excited -- but until my dsl comes through I´m playing the NCAA 2003 on GameCube, WoO on the ps2 and continuing my 2010-11 season on Champ Man.

PK, you said it above. It is pure taste in which one you are going to like.

I bought Madden 2003 PS2 and just rented 2k3 for PS2 (for 30 days) and I had already had about 30 games of Madden in prior to playing 2k3.

I wasnt a fan of 2k series last year on ps2 and still am not this year. I plan on putting more time into 2k3 just to see if it will ´grow´ on me but I just dont like the feel of it currently.

Online to me was a pure joke compared to Madden. Madden plays well, 2k3 also plays as well as the game plays, but the thing that I really frown 2k3 for is the menu options. I went into a game, and all the options have to be decided on by BOTH users. Im sitting getting ready to play and next thing you know the game is paused and this person is changing all the menu options. What is up with this? In Madden you all get to have your own settings, tailor the game to be heard by your ears. I dont want the crowd pumped up so damn loud thats all I hear. I dont want my announcer volume turned off. I like hearing something talking at me besides the annoying crowd.

If I have to make my own commentary more than I do now my wife is going to commit my ass.

Anyways, it is all a matter of preference, but preference in my eyes is for Madden 2003. But I do agree you cant go wrong with the football titles this year. I think all the titles will have something for everyone.

Blitz as usual is a good multiplayer experience. Beyond that, really isnt much to it at least not to hold your interest for more then a few days. Mine lasted about 25 minutes.

No prob Paul. Absolutely love the layout here, its so intuitive and handy. Look forward to submitting something, ANYTHING, to the site before I leave (and the way my recruiters are handling me, that´ll be right before I start collecting social security . Look forward to posting here. Thanks for the warm welcome mate.

Pick for the weekend?

Hmmm... Who hasn´t broken their IRL duck yet? (Brit speak for first-time winner)

I haven´t won yet... but I´ll pick a sleeper... Billy Boat. The Kelley cars were strong last year and Al Jr. is the defending champ, so it wouldn´t surprise me to see Sharp or Unser or Renna do well. Cheever could be strong too...
