 Check out the new lead story on the home page. Neckthai just finished interviewing IRL drivers about IndyCar Series after a public competition among them with the game today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
 
 These are real quotes that Neck got from talking with the drivers -- not some imaginary bullshit.

Nice work Arni! Sounds good so far, although I remember several CART drivers who ranted and raved about how great Microsoft´s CRAP Precision Racing was back in the day. Good thing is that most of these guys sound like actual gamers.

I haven´t played the game yet, I should have played on one of the practice machines, but I had to cover the races. All the guys -- event the pro football guys -- seem to have a really good time playing it, except for James Mungro, who got beat by the 7 year old <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_smile.gif">. The graphics for the ps2 looked pretty good and I saw the cockpit view which look really cool -- though none of the guys used it. Maybe later today, I´ll get in line to play it.
 
 I talked to one of the Codemasters´ reps and he said there are 10 separate maps for controls and several different views.
 
 Don, The speed assist was when it was on EASY. When they turned it on normal and PRO, the damage model kicked it. Meira knocked off Wheldon´s nose cone at the start of the first final and Wheldon´s times were really off. Since Vitor "raced dirty" at the start, they had a do over". and they restarted with damage turned off.
