RD2 World Championship Six-Pack

Post by jbodin »

Things have been rather quiet on the RD2 front, so I thought I'd spice things up a bit -- I just sent a new mod to the Blackhole Motorsports site, and it should be available shortly in the RD2 "Downloads" section, under mods:

http://www.bhmotorsports.com/RDRIV2/downloads

Here's the full scoop -- the RD2 World Championship Six-Pack will install modified Championship Seasons for the DTMs, Global GT Lights, Formula Fords, Seat Leon Supercopas, V8 Supercars, and Vintage Classics.

These new Championship Seasons include 30 tracks for each class, complete with with working AI which be available for all activities listed under "Simulation Modes," which includes Free Race, Time Trial, Multi-Player, Network, and Online modes. These modified Championship Seasons should not affect your career mode.

I have improved the Formula Ford AI a bit; if you've installed the Formula Ford championship season mod, just install this one on top of that -- this version supercedes the stand-alone Formula Ford championship season mod, so there is no file swapping required, and uninstallation of the previous mod is unnecessary.

Here are the tracks:

Wow JB, you just made my day. You covered all my favorite classes. Excellent work! Thanks for posting this info here. I have had no time for gaming in the last week, and besides the release of the 1965 mod for GPL, I am out of the loop on on the racing sim scene. (Well, out of the loop for me means that I haven't scoured my normal sites and forums in several days). Thanks again.
