Never thought TOCA 2 would be a system seller (although it should be).

It just doesn't have the visibility of a PGR or a Gran Turismo...but glad it sold one system at least

Tim:

Will you get Xbox Live? You must if you have broadband, or you'll miss half of the insanity of the Xbox and some seriously good times with DSP brothers.

Take care,
PK

I'd be careful, Tim, as your taste seems to run against the 'sim-crowd' in many other genres.

You do know that this is not a Need-for-speed like game, right?

Not that anyone cares- but Ive spent 2 of the last 4 nights up all night with patients sicker than spit.......saving their lives (not to be arrogant)....havent seen my baby or my wife in days. Got home from the hospital at 5am and had to be back at 7am- threw in MVP to relax and once again it pissed me off.

Therefore tonight I think its xbox, espn baseball and links.

PS- for you young guys- DONT GO TO MED SCHOOL

Sorry for the rant

I understand that and i'm ok with the true sim for racing games...I have never even played need for speed by the way. Plus i've already given TOCA 2 the 10 minute tryout and was instantly hooked!
My gaming has changed tenfold in the past month or so. I've reverted back to playing racing games on my PS2. I was getting quite bored with my baseball and soccer games but I found that I still love the racing games. Maybe an Xbox will revitalize my gaming habits....who knows.

If you are looking to revitalize your gaming through racing on an XBox, you might blow your load. There are a TON of really good racing games on the box.

I'm the same way. Not like I have the time, but I bought ESPN MLB on Monday, XBox Live yesterday, and I'm seriously considering stopping on the way home to pick up TOCA 2. Sometimes I wish I were back in college with all the free time I had.

Ruiz:

Get TOCA 2. The more DSPers playing this game, the merrier. I think everyone in here has the same approach (when sober): Race clean but race hard.

So you're bound to find good action with us.

Take care,
PK

DB:

You have to catch me, first. :)

Seriously, you will pay a DEAR price for driving recklessly in this game, intentional or not. The damage model will punish you, big time.

Take care,
PK

Don't worry DB...catching PK is a piece of cake.

But if you try to wreck him, he hits you back first...and he usually wins

Driving like a fool = poor race result.
You will be watching the cars whizz by .

The only part of the game that really gets on my nerves is when u come to a hairpin and brake .
The guy/guys behind you do not believe in braking and feel they must use you as a bumper.

Other than that there will be bumping, smashing and bashing.
Afterall its a video game.
