What´s up PK and others. I just found out that where I live down here in North Carolina (just moved here from NY) does not support broadband which means I can´t get XBox live. I just recently read most of the threads here and at SR and I looked forward to meeting you guys online, however it is not to be at the moment. I have a friend in NY who is constantly on live, his handle is defcon, you guys have him hooked on motogp. At any rate I am looking to moving to Winston-Salem NC they support live there, it will be a while but eventually I will meet some of you cats on line.
PK, a couple of questions. What´s up with Splinter cell, inside drive, and ghost recon. I have a couple of games to get and I see you have some insight into these.
Good to hear from you. Bummer about lack of broadband. Xbox Live is fantastic.

My impressions on these games:

Ghost Recon: Fun as hell online and offline, but superb online. The tension of online play is gripping as hell. This is one ass-puckering game that requires thought more than a heavy trigger finger. Great stuff.

Inside Drive 2003: The best NBA game I´ve ever played. It doesn´t have a ton of bells and whistles, but it plays a fantastic game of NBA basketball on the court. It´s smooth, and the player movement off the ball is the best I´ve seen. The sleeper sports game of the year. No online play, though, which is inexplicable since this is a Microsoft title.

Splinter Cell: Awesome. Amazing. Masterpiece. All the superlatives fit. This game is brilliant fun and absolutely beautiful. Splinter Cell rivals Halo as the best Xbox game ever. I haven´t played GTA: Vice City or Metroid Prime, but Splinter Cell is definitely a "Game of the Year" candidate for all consoles.

Since you´re offline, I would recommend Splinter Cell first unless you´re really jonesing for hoops.

Hope all is cool!

Take care,

Yeah PK, it looks like you guys are having alot of fun with XBL. I just wanted to jump in a try some of you guys at nfl2k3, I suck at racing games. My friend tells me that there are these two german guys that are just eating up the field in moto gp. I asked him had he raced against you yet, he said no. At any rate you guys enjoy.

As for Spinter Cell, yeah, I think I will go with that one since I am an offline leper, so to speak. I was also looking at lord of the rings the two towers, I here this one is good also.

Hmmm.... we´ve had broadband cable here in Rock Hill, SC for a year and a half now. I figured the rest of the world must have it by now!

I´ve got the broadband, problem is I don´t have an XBox

What´s up J. Yeah, I bet RockHill is a thriving metropolis compared to where I currently stay. Get this, Daniel Boones parents are buried here!! that´s right, Daniel freakin Boone. I hope this paints a clear picture of the area I live in. The county was dry, until like 3months ago!! So I figure broadband will get here sometime in the year 3000.
