Dream Team back this week

 Fans of "Dream Team," the British soccer soap opera shown last year on Fox Sports World, rejoice: The next season starts this week on FSW.
 
 Air time is 8 p.m. (EST) Thursday. The final episode of last season, which really will help to set the table for newbies, starts at 6 p.m. (EST) Thursday.

 I still recommend "Dream Team" to anyone who likes guilty TV pleasures. It´s basically "Beverly Hills 90210" or "Playmakers" with an English soccer background. Lots of sex, cheating, debauchery, alcohol, double-dealing, back-stabbing and soccer.

It looks like I have to come over here to talk about this show!! Damn TIVO didn´t let me see the second episode last week. Where the hell is Fletch?? They didn´t say where he transfered to! Also, where is the youth coach?? Maybe I just missed it.

 I think Fletch still went through with the transfer to Spain after the FA Cup victory. I miss Fletch already.
 
 Not sure what happened to Frank Patcham. But wasn´t he ready to quit at some point last year and Jerry Block forced him to stay? Plus I think the Frank-Alex Wilkinson´s mother storyline faded when Alex´s drug scheme was uncovered, so those characters faded away.
 
 It´s going to take a bit to get caught up with all the new characters, but the show is still tasty. I am a bit miffed, though, that the show producers killed off my favorite character, John Black!
 
 And I must admit that Kelly is looking mighty fine this season. She no longer has that pudgy blonde kid look of last season. If Fletch returns, I doubt he´ll f*ck her and dump her like he did last year!
 
 By the way, the actress who plays Kelly, Emma Gilmour, is the daughter of Pink Floyd guitarist and singer David Gilmour. No wonder she showed such good pipes last season in the episode when the lads taped the FA Cup fight song in the recording studio.
 
 I LOVE "Dream Team." It´s my guilty TV pleasure.

Please don´t remind me of the FA Cup song! I sang that around the house all last season. Wife nearly had to beat my ass!! I remember Fletch now, he had a deal to go to Real Mallorca, but I thought he could only go if Luis went?? Oh well. What about Iain?? We never got a full explanation about that! Too many loose ends!

 Somehow I think Coates may return in some form. Maybe not.
 
 A lot of loose ends, indeed. I know there´s a "Dream Team" episode guide out there on the Web, as Fox Sports World is about three seasons behind what´s being shown in England. But I don´t dare look at it.

We are actually 4 seasons behind. They are on year 7, we are in season 1999/2000, I believe. I have buddy over there and I told him about this show and he said we were in season 2 this summer. I wish they would go back to showing 4 episodes again!!

 But I added a twist to the part where Kelly wailed "HARCHESTER UNITED!" in the chorus. I changed it to "HARCHESTER MOTHERF*CKING UNITED!"

the sad thing is that I downloaded the Harchester patch for CM 01/02 during the summer. Of course, it was from like season 5 or 6, so I only recognized a few. Damn them for only showing two episodes a week!!
 
 You know I didn´t even listen to the intro last week, is that also still their theme song?

Yes. Theme song still is the same. Montage is different, though, with so many new characters.

bring it on loser...since I make words up I think I can spell them however I thinkamabout it. When I mean make them up I am emphasizing the GAY in the word. Not gay, you´re happy, but GAY you smoke pole. That GAY.
