The trailer did nothing for me to get excited about. Hopefully that changes the closer we get to the release date.

Read that the AI, skating motion and the like are all the same.... No improvements there.

Yeah kinda figured the first trailer wouldn't show any gameplay. Trial comes to EA Play on October 7.

Doesn’t really matter if it’s improved or not. It’s a release day purchase for me. I thought 21 played a decent game of hockey. I’m all in on NHL22 on release day.

Jimmy, maybe you don’t need that shiny machine yet to play with us next season.

I’m not sure about that 10s. The article says that both versions will have the same features but it didn’t say anything about cross platform play. Maybe I missed it. Hope it does.

Ok Dragons, be ready for some sure goals once the opponent is inside the # circle. See how the two dudes keep saying, “Make it Snappy”? It’s a new trait they say: We are in trouble.

The degradation of the ice was mentioned too, I thought we had that already the past two seasons.

I like the improved stick physics, where one should be compensated accordingly with how a player is positioned in front of the net while trying to score and also fend away those stick jockey players.

We’ll see what the new frostbite engine does, like most trailers from EA, there’s a lot of promise until the actual gameplay comes.

Breakthrough hockey? I doubt it. But I do like a lot the Krakens new unis. 8)

I didn’t. Just look closely at the initial 15 seconds gameplay between the ‘Nucks-Blues ironically and try to slow it down.

Looks like a 5 on 3 PP for the good guys  and I see 3 Blues players struggling to pick a man or trying to spread themselves before a canon is unloaded into the net. Hmm, where’s the AI? Frostbite engine froze their a$$es?

Hope its not too many of those…Did like the new stick physics, I want to see more deflections in front of the net in 22 and curios about the X-factor which is in all the modes apparently.

I expected more in graphics for a next gen-consoles game but the new animations look very cool especially how a player falls realistically after a trip.

Don't point out AI flaws... LOL!!! :P

I was really hoping they spent time on the CPU AI, but like we saw, I doubt it. :(

Although that does look like the Blues defense last year so maybe it is real!
