RIP Tommy Lasorda

93 years old died of a sudden heart attack. When I think of baseball great managers he’s certainly high on the list.

Loved Lasorda. Here’s to hoping he’s enjoying the best plate of Linguine with clam sauce he ever tasted right now.

Growing up in LA in the 70's and 80's, Lasorda, Scully and the Dodgers meant the world to me. One of a kind. My Dad, a retired LAFD fireman, met him once on a call. He said he was one of the nicest, genuine "celebrities" he ever met.

Today was increasingly inevitable, but his legend will live on forever. One of the true baseball showmen.

RIP Mr. Lasorda and F Bevacqua and the Giants ;)

I was always a huge fan from the time I was a kid. Got my father tickets to Dodger games on two different occasions on his visits to Chicago.

RIP Tommy.
