RIP Eddie Van Halen
One of the greatest IF not the greatest rock guitarist. There are many great ones but Eddie was so copied and influential during the Van Halen 70's and 80's era.
Re: RIP Eddie Van Halen
Still listen to Van Halen on a regular rotation, one of my favorite bands growing up with either Dave or Sammy as the lead. RIP Eddie.

Re: RIP Eddie Van Halen
Like Hendrix, Eddie reshaped the way we think of rock electric guitar. About the only other guys in that class are Chuck Berry and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
That's incredible company to keep. Rest In Power, Eddie.
