Unofficial Tiger Woods 2003 Demo Release

I don´t know how many of you may have seen it yesterday, but there was a "leaked" release of a Tiger Woods 2003 PC demo at the Adrenaline Vault. I got word of it and managed to download it before EA Sports got wind of the illicit download and put the kibosh on it. They indicated that it wasn´t the kosher demo that they plan to release on Monday (citing some technical issues with some graphics cards).
 
 It works fine on my system. I was quite plussed by what I can tell about the game based on the demo. It really doesn´t allow you to get a feel for the true difficulty of the game as it´s fixed at the "Pro" ability level. You have to try to make bogies on this level because it´s so easy. However, there are three more increasingly difficult levels in the final game.
 
 I can tell you one thing already though; this game will not have the performance issues that TW 2002 had. It flows beautifully on my system! There are also more gameplay, grpahics, camera production, and physics enhancements in evidence than I was lead to believe by even the most ardent TW supporters. I´m very excited about the potential for this game. Look for the real demo on Monday. If possible, I´ll see if I can arrange for a News flash on the DSP homepage, with a link to the demo.

The official demo didn´t make it to market today, but I have a good idea that it will be tomorrow. I´ll be posting a newsflash with a few comments about the demo, along with a link as soon as I receive notification of its availibility. I´m anxious to see if any changes are made in the official demo, versus the leaked demo from last Friday.
 
 I think those of you who have systems that you feel are incapable of supporting TW 2003 are going to be in for a surprise.

I have´nt been a big TW fan in the past, however this unreleased demo convinced me to pre-order the game. Even though the demo was only set on pro, I still had a great time playing this game.
