Best Buy currently has the Series S in stock if anyone is interested. So you might to hurry before the scalpers and bots get them.
Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
I still don't have any of the NG consoles. It'll be awhile until around possibly June or August for a PS5. However if it's any consolation, there isn't a damn game right now worth buying either the PS5 or XSX or XSS.
Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
Best Buy had a drop today and I secured one. Picking it up Thursday.

It's a good sign that the Series S is still available. Also the fact that Gamespot.com didn't broadcast the drop may have helped.
Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
Niceeeee.
That is the 2nd PS5 you have bought. Clearly you need to give a shopping tutorial to those who have been looking this entire time.
Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
No sh^t, i've been dying to play Demon Souls. I've forgotten how much I hate getting my ass kicked hundreds of times by a videogame boss feels.
Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
Yep, the sale of the first one bought me this one...with some extra $$$ to boot. Capitalism.

Relax dude. Its not like he scooped up a pallet of PS5's to scalp. He bought one and then changed his mind. He also sold an extra Xbox Series X to a friend at cost. I ended up doing the same thing when the Xbox 360 launched.dbdynsty25 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 6:51 pmThink you mean assholeism. SMH.
By the way, Division 2 looks unreal on the Series X.

Agree 100% on both counts.

Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
Wasn't entirely sure where to put this so here it goes.
Sony announced that they are going to be moving more games to the PC starting with Days Gone in the spring. I really enjoyed Horizon Zero Dawn on the PC and also Detroit and RDR (even though that is technically not Sony) there are several articles on it today but it seems like sale have been lucrative and it hinted at same day release games which would be great.

Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
Anyone in here into fallout and other Bethesda titles? I have a ps5 which I am very pleased with. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything, but I’m a bit concerned that Bethesda might make their games Xbox exclusive. There’s a lot of thoughts on this both ways, but if they made a new fallout, I think it would be a system seller for me. I just recently got into Skyrim for the first time, but it’s a bit too dated. The next elder scrolls game could possibly get my interest.

Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
Well, since Microsoft bought Bethesda (well, Zenimax the parent company), it would seem that any games going forward would be exclusive - at least timed exclusives. So your PS5 might not be ideal if that's the case. No one has a crystal ball, it's all speculative now.fletcher21 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 5:48 pmAnyone in here into fallout and other Bethesda titles? I have a ps5 which I am very pleased with. Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
It sounds like we are years away from seeing a new Elder Scrolls game, so it is not a big concern at this point. But I hope that they keep making PS versions. I think cross platform games are good for gamers.
Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
Gamestop is taking preorders for the Series X bundles only. So if you want one you better act quick.

Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
Im now leaning to get XB X over PS5. Few reasons : MLB THE SHOW and FLIGHT SIM are the only 2 games I'm interested in this year. One is exclusive to Xbox X and Stadium Creator on MLB the show may be a deal breaker for me to get next gen.
And seems like XB X is being more available than PS5 in stores. Still a long shot to get one, but seems like more people are reporting XB X at more stores than PS5.
But then again I think about spending over $500 on a new console and accessories just to play 2 games. I don't see any other 'big' games on the horizon for 2021 due to COVID affecting game development.

Re: Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
Microsoft says that the Series X target for MS Flight Sim is 4K @60FPS which is pretty impressive if they can pull it off. That's a system seller at least for me.Lancer wrote: ↑Mon Mar 08, 2021 4:15 amIm now leaning to get XB X over PS5.
