Now...if it had a setting so that you couldn't speak too loudly into the XBL mic or you'd spook the prey, that would be very cool.

...on second thought, maybe not, if PK is in his default state

Helluva night for hunting for PK and I. Paul got the first three does, then I went on a tear and got NINE before I finally had to shut it off for bed... Lol. We had a line on some great bucks at the waters edge, but they proved elusive. Saw nothing but deer tonight.

Bagged my first Roosevelt elk last night. 806-pounder! What a rush.

Fired it up last night and, cluelessly, bagged a few black tail. Was getting the hang of things by the end of hour two. I need a walk thru :D

Congrats on the elk! It's hump day at boy scout camp, and I've never slept so little in my life, while desiring to sleep so much... Lol. But I need to hunt again! Walking through the woods here wanting to take out my deer call...

No idea. Seems like some of that rating is how cleanly you shot them? How big the trophy is? There are some rare animals out there, albinos and off color game and such. But I've only ever seen two, and never close enough to shoot.

Hahahaha...super fun with Jason and Paul tonight! Hilarious fun. I bagged 10 animals on the evening but did not get that god damn elk I tracked for over an hour. I will have vengeance on that sob.

FYI; I just read that players who don’t have the dlc reservations can play on the reservation with someone who does.

You didn't get it! BUMMER! You tracked that thing all over the Western Hemisphere!

Mega fun. Let's do it again soon. I'm probably out until Sunday night, as I think our band is playing tonight, and I'll be at our camp from Wednesday until Sunday night.

Thanks.

Funniest XBL dialogue among DSPers in close to a decade last night while hunting with Bill and Teal:

Me: I'll help you find that f*cking elk, Bill.

Bill: OHHHH! OHHHH! There it is! Don't f*cking talk to me. Don't even breathe.

Me: Let's get that f*cker!

Bill: Don't talk! STOP! Please! Stop! Don't talk!

Teal: (Hearty laughter)

Well I know the damn animals can’t hear us but I need to hear them! At one point Paul was rambling about something and I could hear footsteps. I wanted that damn elk!

Rambling? It was an ode to Barry Pepper hunting in the woods near his home before he was drafted for World War II and starred in "Saving Private Ryan." :)
