Watching Liverpool close out a game is breathtaking.

Should be a fun final.

Best wishes to Sir Alex Ferguson, who suffered a brain hemorrhage last weekend. Sounds like the next few weeks will be crucial in determining the extent of his recovery.

I'm not a United fan, but I have HUGE respect for Fergie.

If you get a chance, watch the documentary ‘One to Eleven’, featuring the history of the World Cup trophy. The show starts in 1974 when the Germans faced Holland when the late J. Cryuff made his stamp on the pitch until the finals in Rio four years ago between Germany and Argentina.

A lot of memories, emotions and disappointments that will relive any crazy footballer fan’s interest in the sport. A must watch.

Russia is less than two weeks away, I am getting excited...

I started a WC bracket challenge on the stupid MLS site, if anyone is interested. I'm sure there may have been better options, but it was the one in my inbox this morning. :) Good luck and enjoy the craziness, fellas!

I’ve been pumped for awhile. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing this scene again. Yet I know they are one of my favorites to make it to the finals.

Vamos Argentina! :D

The Human Rights Bowl -- Russia v. Saudi Arabia -- gets it all started in the playground of Trump's best friend today. Let's get it on! Stoked for this tournament.

Can’t think of a weaker SA team other than maybe Panama and perhaps Iran at this point. Amateur defending, guys like Cavani and Suarez will be having a feast in this group.

Good news for Egypt, looks like M. Salah will be ready to go tomorrow.

Just f*** Off Fox, first world cup I'm going to have to watch with the sound down.

I'll be back I'm sure.

I miss ESPN, too, Jimmy. A top team in Moscow of JP Dellacamera and Tony Meola is WEAK. And I want to punch Rob Stone in the face every time I see that overamped Colgate frat bro.

Please Spain. Do not hand gift this game to Ronaldo...

Edit: Say what you wan about #7 but that was a brilliant performance. I was chatting with my Spanish friend in Europe on messenger as he was about to take the free kick. From that look on, I told him that Ronaldo was going to score. My buddy hates Ronaldo and was calling him a drama queen, a diver, (the PK was legit) and in total disbelief hung up on our conversation.

He was pissed.

They were some beautiful scoring on this game, Costa, Nacho and of course the beautiful bend it like Beckham special by Ronaldo.

That was certainly a fun game to watch. Can't believe Spain let it slip away.

Watching Argentina’s first game in Russia today was much like watching them try to qualify for this WC. An incredible amount of time spend in Iceland territory, a lot of shots taken, many also blocked brilliantly by the wall that Iceland built and you know it’s not your day when Messi misses on the PK.

Most frustrating for me was Iceland’s goal was completely preventable, just some poor clearing and lackluster play by the favorites. Dissapointing performance to say the least, more urgency is needed in the next couple of games and it doesn’t get any easier.

Whose defense is worse, Argentina or the Cleveland Cavaliers? Both are pretty bad.

When you have a wonderful technology being used currently in this WC, you gotta take full advantage of it, right Perú? Cueva, that was one of the worst kicks in WC history.

Good match so far between GER vs MEX. Germany came so close to tying it. Mexico's counter attack is solid and has been the key so far to keep Germany off balance.

Much like Iceland yesterday, it’s very difficult to play against a 4-5-1 formation and México executed that to perfection. In fact, they could have added to that score. Germany was forced to play the wings more, the have tall guys that missed their chances but other than that not much creativity. The Azteca team defended very well, were poised, showed they can play with the best.

Well if there’s any indication so far it seems that all the top teams are struggling. Did not see the Swiss play Brazil to a tie. Behrami was awesome shutting down Neymar, a perfect shadow. Having said that, I know that those same teams that struggled will advance to the next round. They always do...

Kane to the rescue! Hilarious listening to Talksport now. All of the callers are b*tching up a storm despite England's win.
