Sort of. Teal continues to need to remind me we're not playing Battlefield 1.

PVP makes regular GR:W look like Call of Duty. You really need to be slow, tactical and patient in PVP. I'm learning ... slowly and with much pain and death. :)

It wasn't for very long, but I had a blast last night. Those guys on the other side really had their sh*t together... Lol. I never mind getting pummeled when I'm clearly out manuevered. But we got in some good rounds anyway, and Paul started laying low and exercising patience toward the later rounds... Lol

New mode, maps, and class coming in November! From Ubisoft forum: "Two patches with more fixes and improvements will be published in November. While the first one will be lighter in content, the second one will bring additional content to Ghost War, such as a new class, new maps, and a new game mode…stay tuned."

YES!

Big fun last night with Teal and Rob. I'm finally making progress. Had a couple of kills, scored a few points, felt less clueless tactically.

Thanks, fellas! Again, soon!

Tons of fun! It's clearly very important to have a balanced squad. Ideally I think you need a scout and a medic to really keep things rolling, with either 2 assault guys or an assault/sniper combo depending on the map. Looking forward to tinkering with the possibilities.

Great games last night, fellas. The more I play, the less this game seems like anything else I've played in a very long time. Balancing the support classes with the killers, sticking together close enough for revives, covering the relay tower, there's a lot to consider to avoid getting chewed up.

Teal unlocking the medic drone could be big, as we can spread out a bit more now without losing the ability to revive.

It was fun but I had a horrid night. I was too careless last night. Like you said we must stay focused on objectives. I’ll be looking for you guys this weekend.

I really need to jump into this one of these nights with you gents. As long as I don't follow pk's lead, I should be somewhat decent. :D

Eh, we're all old and suck more than we used to... Lol. But yeah, the medic class might be a game changer. I've been playing more than y'all, but I'm still just now starting to see how the pieces for together for a solid team. Maybe that's because I've been playing with randoms that don't generally work as a unit. Four guys communicating and legitimately watching each other's back, considering class cohesion and loadouts, can be a formidible weapon. Yeah, this mode alone is worth the whole game. And I loved the story mode. (Well, all but that stupid Narco Road crap).

Hey, I'm improving. Had a few rounds last night with multiple kills. Really like the weapon and tactics of the Pointman class. Suits my style well. The Sniper also is deadly.

Great effing mode for a fantastic game.

Yep, Pointman suits you to a tee. I really dig sniper (duh) but I'm gonna get proficient with the medic class for strategy's sake. I'll just have to endure being called a "Gaylord" by Paul for not shooting constantly... :D

HA! Just had a match where yours truly took out the entire other team single handedly... :D . Played as the tech, and shot the first dude trying to take out my jammer in the church. Second dude came in, sneaking up on one of my teammates. Bang. That dude goes out of the church looking for a fight, finds one not to his liking. He's dead. His killer wanders into the path of my C4. Dead. Last dude comes in guns blazing, I drop and fire. Dead. It was awesome!

Everybody does. I've had updates to WRC, Forza 7 and a few other games in the last week.

MS just assumes everyone is getting an XB1X today. The Boys in Redmond don't know me that well. I'm targeting Black Friday 2018, when hopefully I can snag one for $349. :)
