Congratulations to Vancouver! A really fun team to watch!!

No Blues here though, we have a Stanley Cup and that should carry me through several more seasons. :D

Can't wait for the next two series!!!

I did not expect Dallas to come out and bury the Avs in game one.

Neither did I, especially with their top line lightening it up. This is going to be a fun back and forth series, a SO Wild West encounter. I still have the Avs advancing on this one. Another young fun team to watch, Mackinnon is the best player out here today but Benn, Radulov and Seguin stole the show yesterday.

With Grubauer and Johnson out, Avs need to tighten up defensively.

Caps fired their coach. Not sure how you can fire anybody after this playoff experience.

Totally agree. Pretty weak unless there was something going on behind the scenes.

It’s do or die tonight for Canucks fans. They held the lead going into the third period in game 4 after the back to back but just could not hold off the Knights. Vegas is built to win it all today, tough, big guys that can skate and their relentless forecheck is proving too much for VAN.

On top of that Marky is injured now and won’t be playing tonight. They’ll go with a rookie to face his first ever playoffs game while Vegas has M.A. Fleury sitting on the bench. Talk about depth.

Bruins are done, the best in the east (Bolts) will probably face the Knights eventually in the finals.

Here’s hoping they can stretch the series tonight but whatever the outcomes is, Canucks have outdone themselves this year.

Damn right. I got two words for you Diablo: Thatcher Demko. First game ever in the playoffs two days ago, he stops 41 shots. Incredible shootout tonight stopping all 50 shots, and we are talking about Vegas baby. A heavy team loaded with sharpshooters.

He looks so calm. Reminds me a lot of Captain Kirk (Maclean) back in the finals of 94 vs the Rangers. Don’t know how he’s going to do it tomorrow, Demko looked exhausted and Markstrom is hurt.

The third backup goalie may have to step up to the crease.

This team just won’t quit. Damn travels makes me miss game 7 on Friday. This stupid schedule is crazy, why do we have back to backs in the playoffs?

Go Canucks go...

Seems to me that the NHL really is trying to force these games into the quickest time frame possible. They could of done game 7 for Colorado/Dallas on Friday and Canucks/Golden Knights on Saturday afternoon or late Saturday night but they REALLY want to start the WCF on Sunday evening at 8pm on NBC. The Eastern teams have to fly to Edmonton also in this round so I think Tampa is already there and the Flyers/Islanders have to fly there on Saturday night/during the day on Sunday to play Monday???

Victor Hedman has been key in the playoffs for the Bolts, the PP has been lethal and despite their captain unable to dress for the last couple of games, when you got players like Kucherov and B. Point along the steadiness of Vasikesky in net, TPA was a well deserved Stanley Cup winner this year after the meltdown last season in the first round.

Let the talk of trades begin...

Congrats to the NHL on such a successful bubble. I heard the league conducted more than 30,000 COVID tests during the bubble period with zero positives.

That's impressive planning by the league and compliance by all involved.

Congrats to the Bolts. Super run in the playoffs. Already looking forward to the new season. Hopefully my Flyers can get back on track after their round 2 exit. Lots to be excited for...with Carter Hart at the top.

Free Agent Frenzy started today. While there are still a lot of big fishes to catch, there was some big names being moved which should help those teams. Canucks lose Markstrom, one of their recent MVPs as well as steady D-man C. Tanev to the Flames. They know they will have their hands full once Q. Hughes and E. Petterson sign for big bucks next season.

It’ll be weird seeing these two guys in the same conference vs one of their bitter rivals.

A lot of teams have cap issues as well and it’ll be interesting to see if the big stars get the money that they are asking before the season starts.

Saskatchewan’s home boy B. Holtby will. the new VAN’ net minder while T. Demko will hot on his heels.

Guys like Pietrangelo and Hall, are still available.

Among the big names being moved the past 48 hours are A.Pietrangelo to the Knights on a 7 year contract, T. Toffoli to the Habs, Vegas had to clear cap with their new signing so they sent N.Schmidt to the Canucks who lost three members to the Flames and now are the new official Calgary Canucks. 8)

T. Hall signs with the Sabres and T. Barrie goes to EDM on one year signings only clearly trying to bump up their values for next year.

The new season kicked off tonight. Canada is excited to watch all the Canadian teams bunched together, in fact your favorite team may not be in the division you’re used to see them so check the new divisions.

Just finished watching the Leafs-Habs, a thriller decided in OT.

Canucks start on the road vs the Oilers, it should be a fun run and gun game.

John Muckler past away last week, may he Rest In Peace.

New faces, new hopes.

My Flyers looked solid. Soooooooooo good to see Nolan Patrick back and looking strong. Farabee looks like the real deal. He looked a ton more mature/patient on ice last night. Excited for the season.

His speed, his moves, his smarts, somebody needs to tackle him hard. What a goal.
