EASHL Improvements:

EA Sports heard the complaints about player build. Though no details were given to me about what changes are actually coming, one thing for sure is that the player system in NHL 17 for the EASHL will be different. Players will feel more in control of their actual character, and feel like they are building someone how they want rather than being stuck with a generic player style.

Am I the only one that ENJOYS the generic builds? I didn't like going up against guys with 99 speed when I played for the first time. I like this build system....so they're going to ditch that and go back to the other way?

That's what I see in the post above, I could be wrong. There was an initial hmm, when the game came out and saw the builds made already. People don't like changes. I got used to it, as I used to spend an extra $15 to boost up my build. The game is making $$$ with Ultimate mode so I wouldn't be surprised if they want to expand their pockets.

I wouldn't mind it if you have a base build, then say 10 or 20 points to throw around in different categories. That way you'd be able to make him "your own" without ending up a 80 speed vs a 99.

All for this. I'm NOT for having a 60 overall player going up against 90 overall players because they boosted or played a zillion games. Maybe it won't matter so much now that I'll be playing a bunch each week in EASHL, but playing once in a blue moon completely turned me off to the concept because I could see guys beating me with stats and not skill.

I hope you can turn off the stupid (to me) concessions prices/ticket prices/etc.. in BeaGM mode. I could care less about that crap. The rest sounds great!
