RIP Johan Cruyff

Post by Macca00 »

Bit of a footballing purist snob in his later years but his (and Rinus Michels') influence on the modern game cannot be understated - way, way more important than his nifty turn.

A giant of the game.

RIP #14

Wow, the best Dutch footballer for sure. Total Football in WC 74. Dominant in the 70's. Dude was elegant, skilled, a magician and carried his nation during those years.

RIP Johan.

My father talked of him as the greatest player of the time when I was a kid.

Rooted for them against Argentina in 78.

R.I.P.
