I didn't see this coming today at The Ralph, but I'll take it. 1-0. GO BILLS! TYROD!

Well deserved 34. The brain cramps from SB continues in the Carroll camp. After the nice come back in the 4th quarter I thought the D would take over but Rams look much improved with Foles running the show hitting a clutch TD to tie the game up sending into OT. Now, why on earth would you try an onside kick in OT coach? Why? Haven't you learned from your dumb mistakes costing the team the SB?

And stopping #24 on 4th down, you guys always despite sucking the past few years, always play the Hawks tough.

Disappointed. Now we gotta face A. Rodgers next week.

That onside kick was not the best move.

You had all the mo and he wrecked it the way he wrecked the win over the cheaters in the SB.

Jameis "leaf" Winston looked DREADFUL. Are the titans a defensive juggernaut, or is he that over matched? One game, but man.

It's OK. Winston has career options. He can:

1. Rape a girl and have it covered up by the Tampa police.
2. Stand on a table in a Tampa restaurant and scream "F*CK HER IN THE P*SSY!"
3. Steal crab legs from a Publix supermarket in Tampa.

He still has a vibrant life ahead of him.

These mock drafts are literally worthless. I don't want to condemn the guy after one game, but that was just brutal. I watched the game with a die hard tampa fan. Both him and his son had Winston jerseys on. At halftime his wife said "I thought this guy was good, he sucks!" My buddy just sat in silence.

Winston is another overhyped college stud who is getting 6 different kinds of dog s*** kicked out of him by professionals. Considering his questionable actions, I hope he saves every dime he gets. Ryan leaf is smiling somewhere.

Any guy who buys a Winston jersey for his son is a mental midget. He really wants his kid to admire or even emulate a rapist, thief and misogynist all rolled into one person?

Pead might be gone this week.. Mason and Gurley should be close to being back.

In just a short time, I'm in love with Foles. Going to order a #5 jersey ASAP. :)

I agree. Same could be said for a lot of these guys. I've never been one to idolize or pedestalize athletes. The only jersey I ever owned was a powder blue Barry sanders jersey. Best rb of all time, and a class act.

Ditto !

The guy is a creep and coddled only because he's an athlete.

Good selection!

I still have a Chris Spielman Bills' jersey from the mid-90s. Only break it out when I go to games at The Ralph.

Hey now, at least he's not a criminal :D

But yes, that was the least surprising bad pick of the day today. Classic Bad Jay of telegraphing his throw as soon as he snapped the ball. Too bad, too, because Forte was great and the o-line did a much better job blocking than I would have expected. After last year's fiasco's against GB, I will take a game that was competitive into the fourth quarter as progress. But it is going to take a lot of maneuvering to get the D good again and find a replacement for Cutler.

Congratulations on winning that crazy game against the Seahawks. That was impressive.

Cutler's pick was definitely stupid and costly (not to mention Wilson was wide open with a lot of potential YAC to gain) but it was far from the only reason the Bears lost yesterday. 2nd and goal from the 2 followed by 2 passing plays and a third on 4th and goal makes you scratch your head. Going for it on 4th makes you scratch your head rather than taking the 3 points at home. Not running the ball on all of the plays in that situation makes you scratch your head.

Then there was the time they entered the red zone, got called for a hold, and had 1st and 20. They proceeded to run in that situation rather than try to get a touchdown.

The game was much closer than I thought it would be but I chalk that up to being the first week of the season. When these two teams play later in the season it will be like the blowouts from last season.
I am a patient boy.
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait.

Nah, he's progressed past that. He's now into kicking off helmets, just ask Alfred Morris.

Week 1 Take Aways

Seattle losing is great, especially when the coach says the kicker made a mistake it wasn't supposed to be an onside kick because that happens all the time...
Colt losing is better times because I'm surrounded by annoying Colts fans.
Cutler threw a pick literally 15 seconds after I said "Jay hasn't thrown an interception today" Want to get the irrational blame of 25 Bears fans drinking after a golf outing then do this. :D
Questionable play calling by the Bears and Giants at critical times but the Giants might of been the biggest culprit. That is a coaching loss right there.

However the best moment of the day, watching Tampa get pasted.

Agree on Coughlin. Carroll always has been a swashbuckler, so the onsides kick wasn't THAT out of character.

But throwing on third-and-goal with a lead when your opponent has no time outs inside of 1:30 remaining in the game? Pop Warner coaches know to run in that situation. Coughlin is losing it.
