Did a quick search for a thread on this game and didn't see one (other than the Alpha thread) so...

Which version are you guys getting? I want to be able to play some MP with y'all so let me know which version you are going with.

XB1.

My son and I are so looking forward to this game. Not a game that was on my radar at all when I went Next Gen with the One, but the Beta sold me. The coolest thing is that because I purchased the digital download, it is all ready and waiting on my XB1.

I was really iffy on the Beta, and it is still probably not my wheelhouse. But with NHL 15 falling off my Day One purchase list, I have to admit I'm getting drawn into this new and shiny thing called Destiny. That trailer kind of hit the right notes, and it didn't even show gameplay.

So I may end up getting this on the XB1.

I really had more fun than I would have otherwise thought with the beta; I'm still on the fence about getting it, but if I do, I'll be the lone wolf who gets it for 360...

If you are looking to buy Destiny on either of the last generation systems, PS3 and Xbox 360, then you just got some great news. Bungie has announced that for a limited time any downloadable content purchased for Destiny on last-gen systems will automatically get you the same content for PS4 or Xbox One. “For our fans who will be entering the Destiny universe first on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 we have some great news! For a limited time, whenever you buy a digital copy of Destiny, you will be able to download the next-gen version within the same console family for FREE.”

To be specific, the three things that this deal includes are the Destiny Digital Base Game, Digital Guardian Edition, and the Expansion Pass. If you buy any of those three things on PS3 or Xbox 360 then you will automatically be able to get the same content for PS4 or Xbox One. And you don’t need to worry about your characters or story progress, those all cross over to the new systems as well as long as you stay within the same console family.

Just remember that this offer is only for a limited time. All content must be purchased and/or redeemed by January 15th 2015 to be eligible. Considering the game comes out on September 9th 2014 that gives you a lot of time to take advantage.

Wow...considering how many are playing this on XB1, I think I'll keep my Ghost Edition on PS4 and then buy a 360 game to play with Teal, and upgrade to that XB1 version too.

Hopefully, a few traded games will cover the cheddar necessary to purchase it next week, because that just might be the only way, but I'll certainly do it if I know I'll have a dance partner!

Consider me dancing, then. I'd have to get the XB1 version anyway, so might as well have the 360 to boot. I love comparing all of the same game on different platforms, anyway. Sort of a weird fascination.

I'm looking around for the best trade in deals, but I've become a mostly download guy, so I don't have but a couple of discs left, and they're not bringing big enough bucks. This impending move is draining the snot out of my gaming fund. Keep your fingers crossed...lol

Definitely getting this (probably XB1 due to the numbers here) but I don't know If I'm gonna go digital or Disc. If I get bored with the game after a month I want to be able to get some trade in value. BUT, I want the convenience of Digital (ready at midnight Monday, no need to swap discs). Yeah, I'm that anal.
