MyPlayer got old as I could only get minimal touches per game and most of those came off rebounds.

It felt like I just ran around saying "i'm open" and never getting any passes.

I think that mode is not nearly as fun unless you play as the PG.

My team is all I play. Better than ea ultimate team. Very challenging.

My memory may fail me, but I read somewhere that 2K Sports mailed in development of this game on last-gen platforms to focus on current-gen. That said, even a repeat of 2K13 this year would be better than NBA Live 14.

So I've been playing the PC version because it is free to try this weekend. I really like it, the graphics are incredible. I'm tempted to buy it for $30 but I have a question. I suck at defense because my guys never seem to react to any dribble moves, almost as if the controls are a tad bit behind. Is this a PC problem or is it like that in this game.

The PS4 version has no issues w/ defense. The controls are super quick and responsive. The XBO version is a tad bit slower control wise, but the slowness of the game sort of makes it more grounded of a game. Whereas the PS4 version can be up and down at times.

What in the hell does this entire statement even mean?

I've played NBA 2k15 on all systems and they all feel identical. They look different to be sure, but they play the same.

Defense is just F'n hard. You need to practice, sometimes use the close guard button, and anticipate. In the NBA, the ball handler can always get by the defender (assuming it's a primary ball handler of course)...so they are just capturing that. It's all about rotations, help defense, and protecting the rim. One on One defense is damn near impossible against NBA guards...especially since they got rid of all of the hand checking BS.

I ended up buying it and as DB said I'm getting better with practice. Myabe I'm missing the obvious but are there tutorials at all included?

Defense is tough but you will get better. I like to play as the PG, but if the other team has a stud PG I will switch off and play as the SG or SF. Too easy to get burned by quality PG's. Every now and then I will play as the PF or C. But be careful leaving your man for a double team. The will find the open man down low for an easy dunk.
