Therefore my doubt last week, when I questioned the integrity of the 'Up to two hours' enjoyment of a game. Is it really worth the $30. Well, you can argue that if you don't have the games that they are offering in the vault, it is but right now there's no need to get access really.

Maybe Sony knew where they were coming from more than most of us.

So you're paying 30 bucks to play demo's. And not even that.

I guess Sony was right on this one.

EA Access no longer interests me. It just confirms EA earned their back to back crown as worst company.

EA actually announced that EA Access trials would be time limited several weeks ago. Sucks, but not a new revelation.
This service includes trials of new EA games five days before they are released in stores. The Play First service will include the full game download, although most games will come with a two-hour time limit. The trials will vary between games, but EA is stating that progress will carry over to the main game if the player chooses to purchase the game title and that achievements can be earned during trials. The first titles to offer Play First trials are Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, NBA LIVE 15, and Dragon Age: Inquisition.

For my money, it's the automatic 10% discount that makes this an attractive option. Early access does nothing for me in a world where the supply of good games so completely outstrips the time I have to get to all of them.

Call me crazy but I'm cool with 6 hours. That is plenty. Plus, like Rob said, the 10% discount is in there. I won't sniff 6 hours on the Madden early release...or the others for that matter. Ok you all can hate on me now :)

I don't care about the $30 because we have played Peggle 2 to death and I've started playing BF 4. I didn't have these games and I can now trade in FIFA 14 towards something else.

Just disappointed it's not unlimited..

Yep, my disappointment is playing Madden throughout a weekend when it first releases, like I have for the few years since they introduced season ticket. Rather than attempting to play it on a Tuesday night and mid-week, I was able to get some good time in with it those first few nights.

And this year, I'm going on a Cruise on Thursday the 28th, so I have a couple of days and that's it until the next week. Everything aligned nicely with the early access being just like previous years--and sure, it's not a new revelation that they said it was timed, but many of us thought sports games would be business-as-usual, rather than a glorified demo. To make things worse, I'll never buy a game on the XBox One anyway. I'll get it on PS4 if I get a game on a console, so the ONLY reason I signed up for it was the early access.

I'm just disappointed I paid for a year up front thinking it was Season Ticket 2.0 when it came to Madden and NHL, with a few extra perks.

When I went into EA Access today, NBA Live 14, Need for Speed and Garden Warfare were in the vault.. after a few seconds I go back in and they are gone.

I'm guessing those are the next games being added?

Only there for a discount...not for free. How is NBA Live not free?? Who buys that for $26.99?? I don't see the Madden early release. WTF?

If I click on vault those games show up for a split second and then disappear.

I saw those games when I went into "Games" at the top, but not the Vault. It's because they're not part of the vault, they can just be purchased in-game. They didn't even have the little "vault" icon below them like the other vault games did.

At least, that's how I understood it when I saw them in there yesterday.

Me too..
You will have EA Access first so if you like the game, you will buy the game. Im thinking if you play single player or HUT, you will be happy.

Maybe Sony doesn't look so bad now turning down this offer.

I'm happy just playing the demo a couple of weeks before and buying the game on release day ( to the general public) #1.

I still think the six hour limit is a load of BS, but I can't complain about the value I'm getting from EA Access at all. Getting BF4, NFS soon, and PvZ:GW sooner or later is not bad. If someone doesn't have Peggle 2, and wants to play the last year's FIFA and Madden, it is an even better deal. UFC is supposed to drop eventually, too.

The time limit is just weird, because I don't think it can cost them sales. If it is a good enough to keep playing past the 6 hours, you are going to want to keep playing after it releases. What you actually get is a nice comparison. They give you Madden 25 that you can play, and give you a glimpse of what the new version is like. Same will go for FIFA.

I still think it is weird when people are grateful to Sony for not letting them choose.

Weird is a nice way to put it. If anyone thinks Sony did this with the premise of looking out for their customers they are a flipping idiot.

I do not see where any sony customer has said they are grateful for getting f***ed.
