Steve over at OS is teasing some amazing holy s**t screen shots of the the PS4 version. Looking forward to seeing them.

Just wait until the Sony honchos claim that the yen is too low for the US mighty buck.

But yeah, our loonie is sitting currently at 90cents to the US buck but that was never an issue when the Canadian loonie was equally low in previous years. Paying an extra $10 bucks for better visuals? Nope.

the price increase is just precious since most stores in Canada still are having a hell of a time getting any in stock. Dropped by my local Best Buy and I don't think they've had any in since the new year started. EB games preety much likewise.

I may just not bother upgrading to the next generation. Still got a bunch of games to play on the PS3 and there's quite a bit of good stuff coming out on the pc to keep me happy.

Ha, I went over there thinking there were screens, and it really is a tease. But to make him post that, they probably are something.

Also relieved to hear May 6, I was worried it was going to slip to the end of that month.

New what I believe to be PS4 screen shots over at Pastapadre.com. This game is absolutely drop dead gorgeous!!!

Yep, that's them. Couldn't post them at work because of company policies.

This game is stunning. A couple of the screen shots look so real that I find it hard to believe this is what the game is going to look like. The crowds look almost life like.

I know these are angles we don't play from, but those screens are incredible. The ones of Cabrera sliding into home and Heyward at the plate (with the Phillies sign in the background) might be the two most realistic looking screens I have ever seen, in any game.

And they only had 4 or 5 months with the ps4 (at least as far as we know). I can only imagine them with a full year to see what they can produce graphically.

Well aren't those all this shots in replay? I know I don't play in any sort of view that shows the players that close. I read something a while ago about all the work they did on the crowd. Looks really sweet for sure

Of course they are, but we all thought the same thing w/ regards to NBA 2k14 on the next gen. No way they could look that good IN GAME and turns out it does. It's just pulled back a bit so you can't see quite as many details, but that doesn't mean they aren't there. It just makes it really difficult to play a game that zoomed in.

Umm I don't think I was ragging on the game just stating a point. I'm sure it looks good in zoomed out view as well but as you said won't have as many details. I've never considered The Show an ugly game to begin with so upgraded graphics aren't really what I care about.

Even more amazing when zoomed in. The detail is unbelievable. And at this point, I have not reason not to trust them to deliver a really good game.

Yeah, that Melky screen also floored me. Baseball is all about soaking in the nuances, and these guys have constantly shown that they understand this. I expect a great final product.

Quick counts are also something I'm down with - 30 minute games are what I shoot for.
